LA VALLIE

Just came back from “Blickfang”, Austria’s largest design trade show for fashion, jewelry and furnishings. Last year it attracted almost 12,000 enthusiasts to the MAK (Museum of Applied Arts), and it’s the grand finale of the Vienna Design Weeks, with some 140 designers exhibiting their latest creations.
It was quite an experience!



I’ve met many interesting people, made new friends and had a chance to show my new “Nautilus” collection to an audience with a very sharp taste.

I have to say it was a great challenge to be next to so many talented artists, but as the show progressed, I felt encouraged by people showing genuine interest in my work.

Vienna is very charming and colorful city where old meets new in very unpredictable way. Unfortunately there was not much time left for sightseeing, but I managed to have my real mélange at coolest café in Vienna, “Café Hawelka”.
