Museum of Applied Arts, Christmas market has very long tradition and the artists are carefully selected to maintain the quality of the event. If you are into some Christmas shopping on a different level, make sure you visit Budapest Museum of Applied Arts on December 7-8-9, from 10am - 6pm.
Museum is located on Üllői út 33-37, and even if you are new in the city, I assure you, you are not going to spend time looking for it. It is one of the most beautiful buildings in Budapest. Building itself is a “piece of jewellery”, life-work of Ödön Lechner.
The dome - decorated with famous Zsolnay ceramics - catches the eyes of the visitors from afar, while the hall of the main entrance gate with its fabulous decoration invites them inside.
