Spinning Angora Rabbit Fur

Angora spinning and knitting projects and patterns

Weird

, ,

I'm using the latest version of Opera (whether I want to or not, it updates itself automatically and I cannot find the place to turn that off.) Odd thing is, that when I am logged out and go to my own blog, my pictures do not show. If I log in, they do show. Why would Opera not show your pictures? You are, after all, blogging for public consumption in most cases.

Hi Anon,
I wish I could help you, but I do not use a drop spindle, never have. I use a wheel. I'd recommend finger twisting some to get a good feel for it. Then perhaps card it so you have more predictable roving? Just a thought.

I like my USA made Laube clippers, mini-Lazer adjutible speed. Laube also has a newer model, the Blue Thunder that is high torque, low RPM's so it runs cooler than mine does. (German) Aesculaps are certainly very good, but I think they are overpriced and not worth the difference. But perhaps shipping/exchange rate factors would make them more affordable in the UK. Worth an investigation, I think.
