Hello and a lil bit about myself

Hajimemashite! That's the Japanese greeting when one first meet another person. And since this is my very first blog-entry here, I thought it would make quite an appropiate starter!

I just signed up, but no, I am not a first time blogger. I am one of those Y!360 refugees. Y!360 will be shutting down in the next 35 days or so and although I already have another back-up blog site, I do not feel comfortable there and so I am running away. I've surfed around quite a bit looking for a new home for my thoughts but have ran into solid brick walls time and again ie difficult impossible to understand comprehend settings and stuff blogging sites and have begun to feel like a loose kite. Until this evening when I accidentally ran across My Opera.

And it looked like a place where I can finally put my pillows, bolster, cat, dawg, blankie and most importantly, my thoughts down, and so I signed up. There are a lot of things that I do not understand yet, but I am willing to learn and I believe with time, this could work. I'm a tad worried right now because I can't see the fnts that I have chosen.. and that 'strike through' thingy is not showing up too. What I do see are a bunch of 'puter lingo! I'll just go on typing tho' and wait to see the end result.

I'll make a list of what I am like when I blog because I do not want to scare you off by over doing stuff ie I write long a&& blog-entries like you won't believe!! (By Jove, the smileys are sooooo ugly here! ) Aiyaiyaiyaiyai!

i) As I've already mentioned, I write long, long, LONG blog-entries. I greatly admire people who can put their thoughts down in a few simple lines.. I reckon I could do that too but it leaves me with a I'm-not-done-yet feeling deep in my guts and I don't like that! lol

iii) I've decided to start anew. And this time round; I am going to try blog for me. The word 'Blog' is defined as 'Internet nikk' in Japanese. 'Nikki' means diary. So in here you will find writings of all kind. My personal feelings, thoughts, humour, blog-entries about my job, my family, my cat and my dawg. I will also occasionally post Vlogs, my latest passion! I love to sing but unfortunately I am the kind of singer that makes Mr Cowle exclaim: "What the bloody hell was that?!" Daaaa! But sing I will and sing I must for it cleanses mah mind and mah soul!

iv) I'm not sure about the rules and regulations here so if you read this and you know the answer, I would really appreciate a comment back? What if I posted erotica.. will they kill me?

v) Is it possible to embed videos from Youtube here?


vi) I can be a totally girly-girl sometimes, so if you don't like pretty thangs, it might not be a good idea to add me. I definitely do not want to get on your nerves and don't want you to grit your teeth and mutter an oath when you come in and see that I have dressed up a particular blog-entry in pinks and flowers and stuff!

vii) Aside from all of the above, there is really nothing else; I'm just your regular girl next door.
