Well to start off, I am 62 years old, so I may be out of touch with the current generation. For that I do not apologize, lived this long and it is not the first time I do not understand our society.
CFL = Canadian Football League.
Played by multi-millionaires.
Owned by multi-millionaires.
Lots of money to throw around.
These people have the audacity to go to the federal government of Canada and ask for $12 Million to throw an anniversary party to celebrate the 40 anniversary of the CFL. Finance it yourselves you greedy fools. Stop expecting the Canadian Taxpayer to throw a party for you all.
Ok, next on my hit list.
Hockey players, baseball players.
Since when do any of these jocks deserve million dollar contracts? None of them do, I don't care how talented they are at playing hockey or baseball.
Reduce the wages (contract amounts) and the price of seats go down proportionately, more people can afford to go to the games. Dah.
This all stems back to the owners just wanting more money, greed, greed, greed.
Listen up, if we don't get a handle on our society, it will continue to spin out of control.
Cut all professional salaries in half, cut seat prices in half and maybe the general population will have a chance to catch up and enjoy live sports action.
Come on, agree or not, tell me what you think, be you Canadian or from another country, I want to know what you think.
