Good day

Received the first two Christmas gifts from L.A, one for me and other for Jake.
All paperworks for Jake's daycare has been done too. Jan 11 will be Jake's first schooling, and it is also my first school day for Spring semester. His daycare tuition costs roughly 700usd per month. However, my college is willing to pay as I did qualify for its program. Wouldn't it be great?
I have just landed my first semester in US with satisfying scores. I did registered 5 classes for Spring semester already, and all is face-to-face classes. There will have at least 3 classes in Spring semester that will be transferable to the university where I plan to transfer in near future to continue my education. I will try my best on this semester.
Mike's schooling is better than me a lot. He has maintained all straight As for his classes. Remember he has to work full time and only study part-time. He did a well-done job.
Went to school's bookstore today to search for the prices of new books and make comparison with used books. This can help us save a lot of bucks by making a right choice. We prefer to buy used books with affordable prices. We always check the materials before making any purchase. I do not know how other college/university works, but in my school, some books are frequently modified & renewed although they are just pulished last year. Or some books include the attached disc which is only accessed one time. On this case we can not make a purchase on used book due to lacking of the disc which is required for the course. Just make sure the used books you are going to buy are updated ones, and still in good conditions. I mean the material carries as less highlight or note as possible. New textbooks are so expensive. One brandnew textbook might cost you more than 100usd. But if you do the way I suggested above, you can save a lot.
Outside the bookstore, they normally put up a shelf in which students can write down information about their textbook on the form, and arrange those forms in order of alphabet. When it comes to purchasing textbooks for every semester, I always check those textbook in school book store first. I write down ISBN which is either located on the first page of textbook or on the back of a book, also its price. Then I will compare with those used books that are advertised on that shelf.
I have never had a feeling that I love school so much at this time of my life
By the end of the day, I received the biometric appointment letter for my 10-year green card. I sent out my application near end of November, and my biometric appointment will be on December 30th. How fast it is!.
