Iron Maiden - A Matter of Life and Death

We all know the famous Iron maiden that has produced such hits as "The Trooper", "
The Number of the Beast" and "Run To The Hills" although these old Rockers have not released an album for a long time, their latest album titled "A Matter of Life and Death" is THE prove that they're still alive and improving on the old tricks!
The album comes close to being an concept album although it lacks the story. The album follows a main thema of "war". The album title is taken from the famous Tzu San "The Art Of War". In the words of Tzu San :
1. The art of war
is of vital importance to the State.
2. It is a matter of life and death,
a road either to safety or to ruin.
Hence it is a subject of inquiry
which can on no account be
neglected.
Just the way we love them, Iron Maiden starts of heavy and epic and only improves on itself after those first few mind blowing minuts. From the great Intro "Different Worlds" to the beautiful chorus of "Brighter than a thousands Suns" and finally ending in "The Legacy". We get cold hard metal with progressive touch that we have not seen from Iron Maiden since the Seventh Son of a Seventh Son release. And you know what? I fucking love it! It's british, heavy, it's progressive and it's Iron Maiden!
It's the longest album they have created since they started rocking and every minut is great! Clocking in at a good 72 minuts and with an average song length of well above 7 minuts! You can check out the single at Youtube but why would you? You need to own this album!
