Congrats to Joachim Hansen on a great K-1 fight!

On New Year's Eve, a Norwegian mixed martial arts fighter named Joachim Hansen stepped into the ring to battle Kazuyuki Miyata at K-1 PREMIUM 2007 Dynamite!!, a K-1 fighting event held in Osaka, Japan. Opera proudly sponsored Joachim, who wore fighting shorts with the Opera logo on the front and back.

I enjoy martial arts in general and have been a fan of mixed martial arts events for a long time (the first event I saw was UFC 4 in 1994), so I was thrilled to hear that Opera would be sponsoring a fighter. Watching the fight, my coworkers and I were were so excited to see Joachim do well!

I love it! I've been following MMA and specifically Joachim Hansen for a while now, and this is just awesome :D

Was it a one-time thing or is this a longer term sponsorship?
