My OperaDo you really know that there are more people died because of drinking alcohol,then smoking weed?

yeah i read a german study about drugs some days before and there they say that more people dies by drinking alcohol than people which smoking weed.so now my question.why is alcohol a legal drug and weed isn`t?
what you are thinking about it?i think it isn`t neccasary to say that weed is more worst then alcohol,because it makes people happy and friendly and alcohol makes the most people very agressiv.
