My filter.ini entries

, ,

A question often asked of me, is "What filter.ini settings do you use in Opera?" Well, here's the answer...

View my filter.ini file

Of course, I typically update my filter.ini file at least once a month, so check back later for updates to this post.

Enjoy.

Is there some reason you dislike zipzoomfly? I don't think you should distribute a file to block them just because you have something against them.

It seems like an alright site (ala, newegg.com), but apparently an advertisement for them showed-up on another site that I visit (CNet.com maybe?), and I thought it was annoying enough to include in my filter.ini file.

FYI, I typically dislike all third-party advertising -- so I typically block it if/when I can.

Since filter.ini is nothing more than a text file which is accessible to all Opera users, you are free to choose whom you want to trust. Simply removing the entry from your filter.ini file will allow content from them.

Cheers.
