Eve Online had a free trial (they still do http://www.eve-online.com/download/ ) So I tried it, had fun for awhile and got bored with it before the trial ended. I had very much fun until the difficulty jumped up the roof (lost my good ship and had to buy a worse ship to replace it). A pretty game, but space is a lonely place (as I didn't join any factions). Also, there were so many spammers. Skies full of them!
