Hi, I'm using Opera 9.63 with FDM thru Oget. Download all and download selection doesn't seem to work. It gives me this error:
Not exist file "C:\Documents"
Any advice/suggestions?

After upgrading to Opera 9.63, the Ctrl+Click option stopped working. I am getting the same error message mentioned by "nizamx":
OGet Error
Not exist file "C:\Documents"
Opera are not always prompt in fixing the errors (still better than Firefox). Can this be fixed by editing an ini file? If yes, which ini file should be edited to replace the "path" to a format without spaces (may be the old 8.3 format)? and what is the "file path" to be included?
Thanks

You can also use the same Temporary Download Directory by changing:
C:\Documents and Settings\YourLoginName\Application Data\Opera\Opera\profile\cache4\temporary_downloads
to this:
C:\Docume~1\YourLoginName\Applic~1\Opera\Opera\profile\cache4\temporary_downloads
(No spaces in the folder names)

Btw, utorrent also not work in Opera 9.63 and needed in this workaround.
Anonymous # 19. December 2008, 06:59
This is a good workaround. Thank you.
Setting the "Temporary Download Directory" in "User Prefs" to:
C:\Docume~1\USER_NAME\Applic~1\Opera\Opera\profile\cache4\temporary_download\
about:config
Type "temp" in the "Quick find" space/form
paste and replace the "Temporary Download Directory" entry with the above entry (replace "USER_NAME" with yours)
Thanks

Omg, why can't they just release a fix for it? If it's something as simple as spacing in the filename, jeez. Well, even though I could fix it, I'm not going to. I guess I'll just have to stick with Opera's built-in dl manager.

When ctrl + left clicking links that are embedded on images sometimes I get the "Save as" dialog. Is there anyway to avoid this?
In other words: Ctrl + left click on image will try to save the image. Can that shortcut be deactivated?

It would be great if there was an option to use JDownloader aside with Flashget like it was with Rapget, cause now all links go to JDownloader and I don't want that to happen as I only need JDownloader for rapidshare services. Thanks for all your efforts with making Opera better browser Lex1.

hey lex,
When control + click on a link or right-click and download with oGet download manager, my bitcomet just pops up and nothing seem to happen.
i tried to press several times but it still fails to let me download.
Currently im using Opera 9.64 and bitcomet 1.14. If the problem lies with the version of bitcomet, i can change it.
Thanks! (:

hmm okay sure then..
I'll use firefox for downloading stuffs then (:
But i hope i can do everything in opera
Thanks!

Any hope you will make it for Linux?
Any chance it can be a plugin, and not a Win prog?
There are a lot of Opera users switching to Linux now, and maybe it is not a bad idea.

oGet is excellent, thanks for sharing!

How can I make it work with jDownloader and a selection of links? When I select a part of a page with links in it and right click and choose "Download Selection with oGet" I only get the first link in Jdownloader's Linkgrabber.
Right clicking on a link and choosing "Download with oGet" works fine.
I'm using Opera 10.

Tested bitcomet and it does not work as with oget and with flashgot in firefox. Strange
Not supported.
