QSaver Ver 2.4 (60Kb)
History:
2.4.1
+ Saving of the selected part of page.
2.4
* Compatibility with Opera 9.50. Need update all buttons!
2.3
+ Interface.
2.2
* Improved compatibility with Opera 9.50 and Opera 8.
* The buttons of the quick saving changed. Not forget them to renew!
+ Quick saving of images.
I think this little plugin, app, extension (don't really know how to call it) should be really useful for me. I need saving in .MHT file format for easy reading offline on a non internet connected machine.
I've run into an annoying problem (if it can be called that) I have added too many buttons of it to Opera (on the customize menu) and even though I think I can remove them off my Buttons>My buttons I still would like to know if and how I could delete the application. No offense intended because I'm pretty sure I'll be using this hardcore, but I couldn't find information regarding an uninstalling procedure just in case things go wrong.
Hope you can help, and thanks in advance

ALT+TAB'ing to another running program before the saving dialog is shown (or while it's shown) and returning to Opera stops the script for saving. Easy to bypass [of course just don't ALT+TAB like me] but I thought I'd let you know.
Enjoy!

Hello,
Is it possible to write Qsaver for K-Meleon cause it'll be great to have it work with K-Meleon.
Since there is already an oGet for K-Meleon, I hope it wouldn't be difficult to port qsaver to K-Meleon either.
Regards,
hao

It will demand large changes and I do not think that it is useful (without possibility to save in mht). Maybe in future...

Save as MHT and close current window/page.
What are the chances is that being added ? *pretty please*

Yes, you can do it. Open Readme_Eng.html in Opera source editor (Ctrl+F3) and add «&Close%20page» (without quotes) after «Save%20document». Sample:
Press "Apply changes" and do drag'n'drop new button to any panel.

Что касается wine, то как минимум нужно поменять генерацию путей в Readme.html, заменив
на
Если вы пользуетесь Opera 9.5 beta 2+, то может потребоваться это.

- When I click the "Quick save in MHT" button, the dialog window doesn't automatically close, I've to hit the save button
- (for the same reason above, I think) I've created some context-menu entries in the form "quick save image and close": these entries now don't work
- I've lost the feature on setting the filename with a pre-selected text in the page (name now is always the title page)

I use 'Quick save' & 'Quick save in folder' (mht) and 'Save screenshots'
I also use 'Save all pages (in Panels) and 'Save screenshots' (but problems here)
a few problems:
- 'Save screenshots' only works on Opera sites - never on other sites
- 'Save selected parts of pages' links do not work
- 'Automatic saving' does not work (not sure how to use this)
- 'Quick saving of images' (L-clk) only works sometimes
all filepaths and MIME types are correct
(QSaver is in another directory, not Opera - but filepath to it is correct)

Do you use a normal Opera with normal title (- Opera)?
Really strange problems.
Did you update for all buttons? What about test on Opera 9.27?
First, update it. And don't press on link. Drag it on panel.

userJS files prevented dragging 'save page selection' links to toolbar
so I had to temporarily disabled them
also, I wasn’t refreshing the page before using the button
yes, I have title set to "%t" (display title only) - why would that be a problem?
'Save page selection' now works
'Screenshots' now works
REMAINING PROBLEMS:
L-clk on images still only works sometimes - that's ok, I just use Ctrl + L-clk anyway
'save selection' = poor page formatting
ie. lots of empty space on left or right (not your fault)
btw, I’m still not sure what 'Automatic saving' does or how it works ??
By skye11, # 14. July 2008, 02:25:50
Because, Qsaver will not be able normally to work, without the correct title. Please, don't use Qsaver or use normal title.
By Lex1, # 14. July 2008, 07:31:24
Item, "*Quick save image*"=Copy image address & Execute program, "C:\Program Files\Opera\program\qsaver2\QSaver.exe", "/format=img /method=quick /url=‘‘%C’’ /text=‘‘%T’’" & Save image
сохранение идёт в папку на десктопе
локализация браузера английская, если это на что-то влияет

Потестировал, проблем не заметил. Как вариант, попробуйте обновиться до последней версии 2.4.2.
