open-in-background-with-long-press script is not working for me left mouse long press doesn't open tab in the background, do I need any other configuration?

Yes, in Opera 9.50 you must set Ctrl+F12->Advanced->Content->Javascript options->Allow lowering of windows.

Now worked fine and the good point is it can be useable together with quicksaver js' left click, no conflict between two scripts, thank you.

Hello,
Did you check this userjs (with long press) with 10.5 pre alpha (last snapshot)? Becouse press a few second , link opens in background but link opens in same page at the same time as well.
Is there a problem or occure from Pre-alpha?
Pls check it.

Great extension, I use it everyday!

Can you make it work for links on mail messages...that will change the way I use my laptop! it's a bother to open links by right clicking and selecting open in a background tab for a newspaper...

Это баг оперы и его пытались исправить. Кажется безуспешно.

Just to expound on and reiterate what Mateusz stated, the new default action when opening a tab in the background is to automatically create a Tab Stack starting with the present active tab and adding any subsequent links opened in the background to that Stack.

This default behavior works with both the right click "Open in Background Tab" option, as well as the CTRL+SHIFT+ left click shortcut.

Unfortunately, as of Build 1140, the "open-in-background-with-long-press" extension doesn't seem to follow that same behavior.

r4in writes: Works fine in Opera 11 (using it as an extension), however I found a bug: When I have a zoomed webpage (for example "View" is set to 120 %) and I open a new child page from this zoomed page in a background tab using this extension/script, the newly opened page has View value set to 100 %. When opened using the middle mouse button, the View value is as on the original page. Could you fix it?

Hello, I've got a question...

I like your extension (it's very usefull) and I like all the new stuff in Opera 11, but now I searching something els... Something that does the same work in foreground in place of in background.
Or even better : an extension that let you choose between foreground and background (with a button, like with the 'fast search' extension https://addons.opera.com/addons/extensions/details/fast-search/1.1-3/?display=en ). Because with searches like images searches in google, I really prefer an "opening in foreground with long press".

I don't know Javascript well, so my question is :
Is something like this complicated to do, or is it easy ?
If you've got enough time, are you able to do this ?
