Final Harry Potter In Secrecy, Intern Steals From Archives

Library Link of the Day has 2 interesting articles. The first one from Associated Press confirms that the last book " Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" (Book 7)is coming to libraries with a lot of rules (release names of library branch managers) to protect the secret of the book.

" When you have a print run of 12 million books that you're sending out into the world, just in the U.S. alone, and you do want to preserve a very special moment for children, you take whatever precautions you need" , explains Scholastic spokeswoman Kyle Good

And while libraries try to guard the magic of Harry Potter , an intern with the National Archives stole 164 Civil War documents, including an official announcement of President Lincoln’s death and put them up for sale on eBay.

"Prosecutors said Denning McTague, who has master’s degrees in history and library science, put about 150 of the documents online and had sold about half of them."
