Yahoo Buzz Tries To Link User’s Stories On The Net

Looking at some old material to post made me realize today that we missed Yahoo Buzz, a new Digg like service that lists the top stories and videos downloaded and recommended by users.

“A story is ranked based on its Buzz Score. The score is derived from search term popularity, the number of times a story is emailed from Buzz, and the number of votes a story receives.", reads the explanation on Yahoo Buzz page.

Another cool features besides discovering, voting, sharing and subscribing to top stories is that materials with the highest score may be published on Yahoo's home page, which will tremendously increase traffic to your site.

Other famous services for user generated content on the Internet (social bookmarking) are Reddit and Digg.

If you want to be discovered on the Internet, try to offer the most popular story on Yahoo Buzz to get a link to Yahoo’s home page.
