It seems to me that gas prices will only go up from now on, so more and more library customers will be interested in websites and services that will lower their gas bills.
Fueleconomy. gov is a site maintained jointly by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to educate consumers about " fuel economy estimates, energy and environmental impact ratings, fuel-saving tips, and other useful information."
Among the popular topics covered are hybrid and alternative fuel vehicles, fuel prices, tax incentives for hybrids and alternative fuel vehicles, car maintenance tips and downloadable fuel economy guide.
It goes without saying that this site is a must see link on every library website. To get a more in depth look as to what is covered click on the FAQ section.
