Firefox 3 Sets Record With More Than 8 Million Downloads In A Day

The newly released Firefox 3 browser set a new record today with more than 8 million downloads from customers for the first 24 hours.
Briefly some of the new features are:
* improved memory ( unused items are released from memory)
* security ( identity button for verification of site information)
* speed (10 times faster than Internet Explorer 7 and 3 times faster than Firefox 2)
* "smart" location address bar(when typing in it, related previously used sites appear)
* "a pause-and-resume download capability"
