Stanley Wilson - Pagan Love
Capitol Records
ST 1552
Vinyl - Stereo
1961
A key figure in Hollywood's music industry in the 1950s and 1960s, Stanley Wilson rarely recorded specifically for record audiences, but two of his albums are classics of space age pop. Pagan Love is a prime piece of jungle exotica, a collection of Wilson originals depicting various aspects of romance and sex among the primitives--at least, as seen by Hollywood. I downloaded this and the message says it is "Not a valid Rar file". Is there something else I need to do? I've had no problem acquiring your other selections. Thanks much for everything.

Great stuff, this album. I've been collecting Lounge for years now and I'd never ever heard of this one before. And when track four comes along, I didn't know until now that those South Sea Islanders were so well versed in the Cha Cha. Versatile People! After that, parts of it resemble Marty Wilson's "JunGala", another favorite Exotica album. Many Thanks!
