More Harry James in Hi Fi

Capitol - ECJ-60022
1955
Vinyl
Mono

This was uploaded by a guest contributor. Thanks alot for rounding out this second volume from Harry James. As he says below this is a very clean rip and sounds outstanding.

Anyone else out there want to contribute to the kitchen send me an email with your links or just post them in the comments. Remember it is better to give than to receive! :up:

I'm uploading it in the moment. It's ripped from an almost mint Japanese Lp-issue. It's a beautiful recording because of the big studio Capitol used for his big band recordings. The tunes sound so much better than Harry's originals for Columbia. But if you're for more "authenticity" you certainly will prefer the earlier versions.

All mp3's are in mono, ripped from vinyl with 160 kb/s, VBR-mono;

Enjoy it!

LP, you're a star! I asked you for this one at the time you posted the first Harry James In Hi-Fi LP and you have come through with your promise to look for this classic record.
Now at last I can throw out my worn, almost unplayable LP.
Thanks a million and very best wishes to you and Tadjma1hall!

Group effort here. And as it should be. I visit a few sites where the sharing is two way. Seems like a closer community when done that way. Any time anyone has a OOP share but no blog to post to, we would be proud to host your music. LP

Excellent post! Been looking for this one for ages -- mostly because of "The Mole." That´s the version that Chuck Cecil uses on his "Swingin' Years" program. Thanks very much indeed...

Hi Tadjma1hall:
Thanks a lot for sharing this with all of us. I am for the first time with opera. I have heaps of big band sound to share as well, just need to figure it out how I can share it with the rest of you. Could you kindly please let me know how I download Harry James In Hifi?
Thanks a lot.

Click on the link above Harry James in Hi Fi. It is in blue just below the track list. That will take you to another link. Click on that and you will be able to download from Rapidshare. It is free but I reccomend a premium account as it is inexpensive and it will pay for itself in just 2 or 3 albums. You will need to Winrar (see Tools in sidebar) to unpack the music files.

As for sharing that is another story alltogether. Really you just do the above in reverse.
