The Suburbs - ReMiX

, , ,

Released by Twin/Tone Records April 12, 1982. Both songs are from "Credit In Heaven."
"Music For Boys" is an extended dance re-mix of the album version.
Used to promote the double album and to help get the band signed to a major label, we gave away 4,103 copies and sold 5,741 copies. It is "out of print."
Source: Twin/Tone

Just under 10,000 copies and Licorice Pizza got 1, not the free 1. I didn't know they were given em away. So I'll give away this two song vinyl goody early in the week just because...we like you!

Minneapolis? OK I'm busted! I am really the artist formerly known as Prince. Now I can name my blog what I really wanted to all along, but feared I would be found out. How does "Purple Pizza" sound to you. Ha ha. Just kidding.

Glad I could send you trippin down memory lane. Hope you don't have any flashbacks in the process. Smokin' weed! Ya dang hippie. Get a haircut.

I have a few of these extended EP's from the 80's on hand and if they go over we may post a few now and again.

Some folks may not recognize this one because I put the back cover up instead of the front. Felt the picture might be a bit to "Gary Glitterish" for the kitchen. It is included in the file though.

Hope your mom and dad forgave you.

Has anyone heard of a record called, I believe, The Burbank Symphony. It is not a classical record, and it has a Civil war type photo on the cover. It has a lot of Contrabass sax work on it. Do you know if it is posted anywhere?

Check this search engine.

If what you are looking for is not here it is probably not out there right now. But I will keep my eye out. LP

I knew you were his Purpleness!

Great lil' number LP! I had some of these back in the day but sadly they're gone now. All my singles and eps were traded and sold years back, who'da thunk we'd be looking for those again?

I'm interested in hearing more - fyi.

Lounge, er um, Rock ON DUDE!

minneapolis in da house!

thanks for uploading this single, licorice. why they didn't include this remix on some of the compilation cds they released i will never know.

wondering... any chance we could get the "dream hog" ep? interestingly, it has never be re-issued on cd as the rest of the suburbs' albums have.

thanks again,

kk
