SpotLight On: Roots of Rock 'n' Roll
Friday, 1. September 2006, 16:53:15

This MiX spans the ten years of 1946 to 1955.
Most of the artist below were either Country & Western, Rhthym & Blues or just plain old Blues performers. The songs here would shape the musical futures of the youngsters that heard them. These are the artists who were the forerunners of what would soon be called

Hi. The password "atov" doesn't seem to work. I get an error message and can't open the file. Any suggestions?

Try atov by itself and use lower case.
Good luck. Great music if you can get it.

Ok, I think the problem was an outdated version of Stuffit Expander. I got the current version and was able to open the file. Now my question is: the music is on one huge mp3 file. Is there any way break this up into individual tracks?
Thanks!

The music is MiXed similar to what is done on a radio station. Not as good as Hip Hop or Trance DJ's but overlapping segues to each tune. I have chosen not to just throw up single mp3 files but craft an 80 minute presentation of the chosen genre. This site loses a few because of that. I make the MiXes firstly for...me and share them here. In any event the seperated mp3 files would be somewhat useless with overlapping songs at the beginning and the end.
