Music To Spy By - Volume 2 / Jazz MiX

, ,

A Taste of Vinyl Production
MiXed by Stylus
2007

I figured it was about time to do a follow up to the Music To Spy By MiX. That was my third attempt at MiX and was my first Crime Jazz post. Volume 1 had a Space Age Pop/Bachelor Pad theme. It is by far the most downloaded MiX of all. I have been noticing that the Crime Jazz posts are hands down the most popular. Many of the comments for requests are "More Crime Jazz"

Now, the genre is Crime Jazz. However, while MiXing up Volume 2, I saw various musical strains developing and came up with not one, but 2 very different sounding MiXes. (I have saved the original MiX that got me to go in two different directions - this will be a seperate post, Volume 4) What was I thinking! So, that will give us a total of 4 volumes of Music To Spy By. That should hold everyone over for some time...hopefully!

The first one posted here today is Jazz in nature but not limited to Jazz alone so let the Jazz purists be forewarned! This has a generally Jazzy, Crime Jazzy, feel about it. I guess that's why they call it CRIME JAZZ.

So why not go back and visit Music To Spy By Volume 1 and then enjoy a far more edgy Volume 2.

I always burn them to CD, I'm not an mp3 player fan.
A version with seperate tracks would be nice  but I'm not complaining.

Come on where's volume 3?.....)

Thanks for these

Since you burn them to cd download the program in the side bar under Tools called Burrrn and drag the .cue file in the folder into it and burn a cd that way. You will get seperate tracks that way. Let me know how you like that. Still working on v3...patience! LP

use burrn program at the sidebar. Works great and if you drag the .cue file (provided with the download) into the program it will track it for you. These were cut very close to the 80 minute rule. But Burrrn will make it fit. LP

Thanks for the tip on the Burrrn program. I had no idea and this really does make good audio cd's. Now I can take the cd out of the house and into the car and pick up where I left off. Thanks for the mixes! They are sweeet! MM
