Ray Martin - Dynamica
RCA - Stereo Action
LSA-2287

More Ray Martin! I was reading my own post and saw the reference to Dynamica and started to give it a listen. Great stuff in the Stereo Action stable. Lots of left and right musical chairs.

I believe I picked this rip up from the now departed "These Records are BenT"! Ben T we miss you and if you are still checking in thanks for the Ray Martin and that incredible Stereo Action hunt you, RockoverGraceland and Xtabay worked on back in the middle part of 2006.

So grab the headphones and get ready for some sonic head spinning from Mr. Martin.

Mighty - I too picked it up at Bent's site, when it was still there... do you remember the RCA Action Series blasting at Xtabay, Bent etc.??? This was my start in the blogosphere - I completely flipped with all this Esquivel, Martin Denny, Les Baxter and the Action Series.

Now I'm posting Avantgarde over at bordermusic.wordpress, but I'm still going through this exxtraordinaire Exotica masterpieces from time to time.

Thanks for putting this up again - this has to be heard to believed, and btw --- this is beside Esquivel's "Latin-esque" my favorite from the Action Series!!! What a diversity in sound! I'm aching for love...

Cheers, Lucky

btw - hope you don't mind that I link to your site... otherwise drop me a note and I'll change it.

No problem with the link! What is your site addy? Your ???? was the great RockoverGraceland. He was in all that too. I have been thinking on doing a Stereo Action MiX that stuff is so good and I bet a lot of the peeps here today have not had a chance to hear much of it.

oh my, forgot to mention my little bloggy - http://bordermusic.wordpress.com/

and I agree with Rob G - with the little addition of Esquivel's, as I said above.... never leave Juan Garcia out, he was the master of stereo gimmickry, just think about 2 big orchestras in 2 different studios doing this thang... unbelievable today!

cheers, lucky
