Loki's sensible nonsense of nonsensical sense

Righteous

, , , ,

The town made merry, gamboled, dined
They'd nothing now to fear
They burned the darkness from my mind
The world at last was clear
For God is good...
And God is kind...
But He's not welcome here.

by Joss Whedon and Tim Sale,
in Tales of the Slayers.

Can't believe I had let it be so long since I reread this anthology that I forgot about this fantastic story. (Anyone who has not read it, they should, for all its simplicity it is absolutely stunningly well done. Also, it positively begs to be read out loud)

Now is that http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tales_of_the_Slayer or
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tales_of_the_Slayers
One might think of the intriguing voices a narrator could assume, too. Nope. I've just seen Buffy on TV - and Firefly TV shows + The Signal movie, of course.
It's a shame http://my.opera.com/Solar%20Ravyn/ doesn't do more in the community. I think I detect a kindred spirit.

It is a story in the graphic novel, I have not read the books (I am the kind of guy who actually cares a lot about what is and is not canon - crazy, I know). My girlfriend says they are pretty good, though.

Did you ever look in on Kung-Fu Monkey ? It's a blog by an illustrator.

No, can't say that I have.

Sorry. I should have been a little more explicit. John Rogers came to my attention a few years back with a humdinger post headed by the quotation "Lions Led by Donkeys" referring to soldiers and their civilian 'leaders'. It is included with Memorial Day & Remembrance Day posts : and I will have another coming up for Nov. 11 Do you have anything of note to contribute ?
Anyway - it turned out it wasn't really a political blog - but graphics aren't what I 'do', even when questions of promotion and more are discussed.

I'm not sure I quite follow your train of thought here - what does any of this have to do with Tales of the Slayers?
