Well, I've somehow gotten a Ally McBeal-kick recently. I watched half a rerun I stumbled over three weeks ago, smiled of a few things, thought little of it. Then I catched an entire rerun last week, and voilà, enticed.
I remember from when the series first aired that I liked it, but didn't love it. I think, had I watched it for the first time now, I'd have been a huge fan. Of course, not every episode is excellent, and the reruns I've watched lately are from early in the series, I seem to remember a small decline in quality as the series progressed, but what I've seen this far is far, far better than I remembered. The scenes are more nuanced, as are the characters.
One thing's the same still, though, John Cage and Richard Fish are the coolest lawyers. XD (Yes, even counting Lindsey.)
