Love and the Church
Monday, April 12, 2010 6:55:53 AM
Jesus founded a church two thousand years ago. It had 12 members. All forsook Christ and fled- one sold him for some silver, and Peter, the ''Leader'' denied Jesus 3 times in trying times.
Should we leave the Church if scandal strikes? The human institution is weak and carnal. The question is, are we Holy because of the church, or are we Holy because Jesus Christ makes us Holy?
What is the bulwark, pillar and foundation of our faith? Jesus? The Bible? Well what does the Bible say?
It says it's the Church- 1 Timothy 3:15 and 16.
So- which one is Paul talking about?
It is interesting to denote that the ''Universal'' or Catholic Church is the only church fitting of verse 16 in my opinion. Protestantism is a storm of confusion, while the Catholic Church has never changed her doctrine. Notice- I said ''doctrine'' on ''discipline.''
I have read the catechism, Vatican 1 and 2 and founding fathers, a church history.
Check it out-

Support our Troops
Saturday, March 13, 2010 7:28:50 AM
you stay up for 16 hours
He stays up for days on end..
You take a warm shower to help
you wake up.
He goes days or weeks without
running water.
You complain of a 'headache',
and call in sick.
He gets shot at as others are
hit, and keeps moving forward.
You put on your anti war/don't
support the troops shirt, and go
meet up with your friends.
He still fights for your right to
wear that shirt.
You make sure you're mobile
phone is in your pocket.
He clutches the cross hanging on
his chain next to his dog tags.
You talk trash about your
'buddies' that aren't with you.
He knows he may not see some
of his buddies again.
You walk down the beach,
staring at all the pretty girls.
He patrols the streets,
searching for insurgents and
terrorists.
You complain about how hot it is.
He wears his heavy gear, not
daring to take off his helmet to
wipe his brow.
You go out to lunch, and
complain because the
restaurant got your order
wrong.
He doesn't get to eat today..
Your maid makes your bed and
washes your clothes.
He wears the same things for
weeks, but makes sure his
weapons are clean.
You go to the mall and get your
hair redone.
He doesn't have time to brush
his teeth today.
You're angry because your class
ran 5 minutes over.
He's told he will be held over an
extra 2 months.
You call your girlfriend and set a
date for tonight.
He waits for the mail to see if
there is a letter from home .
You hug and kiss your girlfriend,
like you do everyday.
He holds his letter close and
smells his love's perfume...
You roll your eyes as a baby
cries.
He gets a letter with pictures of
his new child, and wonders if
they'll ever meet.
You criticize your government,
and say that war never solves
anything.
He sees the innocent tortured
and killed by their own people and
remembers why he is fighting.
You hear the jokes about the
war, and make fun of men like
him.
He hears the gunfire, bombs and
screams of the wounded.
You see only what the media
wants you to see.
He sees the broken bodies lying
around him.
You are asked to go to the store
by your parents. You don't.
He does exactly what he is told
even if it puts his life in danger.
You stay at home and watch TV.
He takes whatever time he is
given to call, write home , sleep,
and eat.
You crawl into your soft bed,
with down pillows, and get
comfortable.
He tries to sleep but gets woken
by mortars and helicopters all
night long.
If you support your troops, send
this to 7 people.
If you don't support your troops
well, then don't send this out.
You won't die in 7 days, your love
life won't be affected, and you
won't have the worst day ever.
You don't have to email this. It's
not like you know the men and
women that are dying to
preserve your rights.
REMEMBER our Troops, and do
not forget them LATER

A Love That's Strong
Tuesday, March 9, 2010 9:14:29 PM
Of all the love I've felt in life,
Your love is the best.
But you soon become my wife
Can we endure the test?
The test of time can humble,
Even the strongest soul-
Our feet may trip - our hearts may tumble
Into a deep dark hole.
I am willing to take the chance
To be there by your side,
My feelings for you will ever enhance
A love too strong to hide!
As troubles come, and hardships grow,
We'll have to take a stand
Just remember - I love you so
I'll gladly hold your hand.
And if you feel our love's grown cold
And lost it's true appeal
I'll remind you as we both grow old -
I won't change the way I feel!
Your love is the best.
But you soon become my wife
Can we endure the test?
The test of time can humble,
Even the strongest soul-
Our feet may trip - our hearts may tumble

Finally Free
Tuesday, March 9, 2010 9:04:02 PM
Through many cold and lonely nights,
I must stay strong to fight this fight.
This place will soon be part of me,
If they don't soon, set me free
This is no life, I've got to go!
Away from this hell I've come to know.
So I've decided, it's time to run- to hell with these cops- to hell with their guns.
As I'm climbing the fence a rifle cracks-
I feel the bullets go deep in my back!
I feel myself falling, I'm going insane...
I've got to get up and ignore the pain....
I try to get up and ignore the hurt,
But I fall once more in prison dirt-
The light slowly fades, it's hard to see, as the pain slowly goes, I'm finally free....
I must stay strong to fight this fight.
This place will soon be part of me,
If they don't soon, set me free
This is no life, I've got to go!

Humpty's Misfortune
Tuesday, March 9, 2010 8:51:13 PM
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty got a phone call!
If picked up the phone and said, ''Who can this be? Who is this woman, calling me!''
The person answered and said,''Hello- who am I! You already know.
It was his wife calling from tony, complaining and nagging, she threw the phone down!
The phone made a crashing terrible sound- it made Humpty jump, and if fell to the ground!
All the king's horses, and all the kings men, tried to put Humpty together again.
But the raging sun was high in the sky, and all Humpty's guts began to dry.
The king's men cried, one man mounted his horse-
But a horse is a horse, of course, of course...

February Update Entry
Tuesday, March 9, 2010 8:26:16 PM
February, oh February! What a
blessing you are!
Well, let me explain! In February,
there is this Holiday. the word
''Holiday'' comes from the words
''Holy'' and ''Day.'' You may have
already known this.
What makes a day ''Holy?''
depends on the person and/or
their believe system, I guess.
Well for me, the answer is- love.
God's ''love'' makes His law and
promises Holy. ''Love'' makes a
marriage Holy. But this isn't a
church sermon, so let's move
along- chop chop!
This February, 2010- the most
beautiful woman said ''yes'' to
me when I asked her to be my
Valentine! I've never really had a
Valentine before- ''hellintime,''
yes. No Valentine though.
I certainly don't want to break it!
It's brand new!
February is my month of ''New
Hope.''
I have a Girlfriend now who lives
7,000 miles away, but I wouldn't
trade her for anything!
That simple yes showed me that
I've been missing the mark of
love, or what I thought love was
for a long time now.
This is the simple key, if you
want it. I prayed about this one. I
am trusting my Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ with her heart. By
His love and His direction, I will be
able to love Tricia the right way,
and not hurt her.

January Update Summary
Tuesday, March 9, 2010 8:24:04 PM
January is beautiful. To me it has
always symbolized new
beginnings... I wonder why?
Oh well.
I feel January brings with it hope.
Actually- it used to bring
hangovers and loathing of the
new year- some good, and some
bad! Who knows what the year
will turn though. It's too new!
This last five years has been
very different. Yes, being in a
prison, whether of mind, or the
physical one is sure to add the
''different'' to many things.
This time, in 2010, the new year
brought with it hope through my
friends and a few family
members who write and stay in
touch. (There seen to be getting
fewer and fewer.)
Tricia gave me new hope
starting especially when she
posted a comment on my Blog
here in myspace. She believed in
me! I was having trouble believing
in myself! What a friend she was
already being... God's Grace
always abounds when least
expected, doesn't it?
This hope (friendship) will always
have left a positive mark in my
heart!
January of 2010 is my year of
decision. January- the month of
new life.
