I realized something today that made me kind of sad. I no longer feel like I have to have opera as my default browser.
I did something I haven't done in a long time a few days ago..I used Firefox. And all in all it was pretty good. I was surprised how fewer hang-ups, freezes, bugs, crashes and memory-hog events I had compared to Opera.
Hey, I'm surprised myself. See I've used Opera for years. Even paid for it years ago before it was totally free.
With the mangling of the downdrop url bar, the "featherweight" UI, no dropdown arrow (WTF?) and now the future ending of Unite, widgets and voice Opera will look damn close to Chrome. I do not want Chrome, I want Opera and not a ruined crippled Opera.

I was watching tv today and a paid program came on by Jack Van Imp. This guy is honestly one of craziest preachers on tv. The stuff he says is just so far out there. I'm sure you can find some clips on youtube if you search, believe me the laugh will be worth it.
Men out there.....When your dating a woman do not ask her how many men she's slept with. No matter how she answers chances are you'll find a way to be pissed off about it. Honestly whats it really matter how many men she's been with? Now I know part of you wants to know, but what good would it really do? It's just a bad idea all the way around.
Just be glad she's with you and your getting it now.

PTC, clixsense, cash crate, Swag bucks
So two other people and myself were talking about ways to increase the amount of money we are making over at the PTC (pay to click) sites we are members of and I had what I think is a pretty good idea (well two good ideas). Both of which they agreed to try themselves.
The first referrer trading. It works like this: Say I have two referee's under me well we all three take turns getting a referrer. If someone joins under me then the next time someone wants to join under me that person would be steered towards the last person that signed up under me. So everybody in what's called the downline would get someone signing up under them and a the website pays them a % of what the people under them make.
Idea 2: Was to pool money so people in the group will get paying for and up grading to a higher status level, which means more pay per ad clicked.
This way everyone benefits and nobody is left hanging out to dry making very little while every one above makes more. Click the banners and the link in the post before this one to sign up at the sites if it tickles your fancy.

PTC, Swag bucks, Shameless plug
Most of the money I make I make online from my home, which means I am online or on and near my computer most of the day. Since I'm on my computer most of the time anyway I thought I'd go ahead and join some of those PTC sites, otherwise known as the spend alot of time clicking ads and get paid a tiny amount of money sites. Of course there are ways to make the money you earn to be almost worth the time you put into it, which is the reason for this post. In fact I do know a guy who made 9,000 last year on one of these sites.
Making that much money takes a hell of a lot of effort and it's pretty much his full time job, but since he's a member of at least two (I'd guess more I don't know about too) different sites there's no telling how much he pulls in total.
Alot of it is just clicking on some banners at the website you sign up on, another page pops up (the page that was on the ad) in a new tab and after a count down of anyway from 3 to 20 seconds you earn the money and you can close that tab, go back and click another banner. Some of the sites have offers ranging from newsletters you get thru email to credit cards you can apply for.
The way to do the newsletters is to sign up for a throw away email address that you use just for signing up with those sites and confirming the newsletters. After you sign up for the newsletters they send you a email and you need to click on a link to confirm you want it so they're pay you. If you unsubscribe to quickly they won't pay you, so it's best to have a throw away email that you don't mind if it gets filled with spam. And believe me it will.
They give you a special link or banner for people to sign up at the site thru the members and the site pays you a small % of what the person makes. They don't take the money from you though, the site pays it. If you have a bunch of people sign up then you can make a good buck (thats how my friend did it).
Also you can do whats called a referrer swap. It works like this...if you agree to sign with someone elses link to help them make some money on one site then they agree to sign up under another site and be your referrer. That why you both make money. So if anybody wants to do that the I'm willing. If you wanna join then heres my links in order of who I think is the better site.
This is Swag Bucks. This site has the most members and the fastest to earn stuff I think. Although it's prizes and giftcards not money you earn, although you can win money in sweepstakes.
This is Cash Crate. The money here is pretty good. Mostly offers (ALOT of newsletters, which are no sweat with a throw away email) Click here for Cash Crate
This is ClixSense. The money isn't as good until you get some referrers then it jumps alot. ClixSense is all clickin on banners and a big picture grid with little squares that you can click and win money. I've been pretty luckly at the grid and winning money. It also has the lowest minimum to get a check or paypal payout.
So if you wanna swap or just wanna join then cick em. = )

There are times in my life when I look around and see how much of a slacker I am, it's almost like how drinkers have moments of clarity.
Still on the methadone program and if asked I would have to say that truthfully it has saved my life. There is a good chance I'd be in prison now if I hadn't joined. Right before I started the program I was in a really bad place, I was too the point I where I shot up about $200 to $300 worth of dope a day on avg. There were days where for whatever reason I just could not raise the cash and end up doing a lot less, then there were the few days I'd do over a grand.
My life is better in so many ways now. Have the trust of my family back makes me feel so much better.
I'll have a nice post up in a few.

anxiety, depression
Hey guys, I haven't posted in a long time so I thought I'd go ahead and fix that. I'm not really sure why I haven't really. I dunno, I've just felt almost numb inside and haven't really wanted to do much of anything. I don't think it's depression per say, because I have few of the classic sign of if. I can and do get out of bed and I don't feel like myself or life is worthless. But when I think about doing things almost always I come to the conclusion that it's not worth the effort. I dunno.
But on the plus side I do think and see it as a problem and have the desire to look into it. So to me that seems like a good sign.
Well I've gotta go. But if any of you guys are depressed or have anxiety let a comment or message me if you sometime need somebody to vent, I wouldn't mind. I have public anxiety also so I know what it's like.

A new post is over on my blogspot, go check it sucka!
Today was also the day for me to go the methadone clinic. I had to move about 30 to 45 minutes from the clinic and since I don't have a car anymore I got a travel hardship and they let me have more take-homes. So now I don't have to go but once a week. But theres no other clinic for hundreds of miles so it's always really crowded and I end up waiting in line for a really long time almost every-time I go.
A while back a group of friends I started calling methadone the pink fuzzy handcuffs on this website that I used to collaborate on with some friends of mine so thats what the title part means in case your wondering.
I guess I'm lucky there is even a clinic here because it almost didn't open. Everybody here freaked out when they heard about it and tried to stop it from opening. They thought it would bring all sorts of problems to that part of the city. Hell the part of town it opened in was where everyone went to get drugs anyway and crime went down after they opened it.
Oh well...NIMBY can pop up anywhere, not just here. I'm just glad it's here, it's changed my life in so many ways and I'm grateful.

dropkick murphys, mp3, .ogg
So today I thought I'd go ahead and rip most of my cd's so I'd be able to carry them around with my laptop. The first problem I ran into is format. I could have just picked mp3 I know but there are so many better formats out there that I really couldn't decide for awhile.
Of course I thought of .ogg but I really would like something lossless. The problem there is size, most are from 230 to 400 mb per cd and thats just not an option, my laptops HD is only 160gb anyway. So that pretty much knocked out ape, ofr, apple lossless and all the other great lossless formats.
Musepack looks pretty good....size is quite low, sound is really good. Sounds like it'll fit the bill. But then I see that they are in trouble for not doing right by GPL license's. If it was some greedy companies copyright that MIGHT be different but FFmpg? They don't ask THAT much, just a little notice saying your using it. So musepack's out
Finally I just went with a Helix mp3 encoder. I use XMplay as my main audio play so it can play just about any format you can throw at it but I don't want to complicate things in my playlists too much.
But after only ripping two Dropkick Murphys, two Oxymoron and a Unseen cd I gave up. Most of the cd's I planned to rip after those I hardly listen too anymore. I also like having a lean computer. I really hate it when I get on someone computer and they have all sorts of undeleted folders left over from uninstalls, icons that point nowhere, ten things starting on start-up that shouldn't and still have crap bloatware from first boot. I have to resist the urge to start cleaning out windows and knock the dust of the registry.
Anyway, I think my playlist is long enough, right now it's 935 songs long on my laptop. On my desktop it's got to be in 3000 or 4000 range. I had to reformat the hard drive once and replace one once so it should be 20 or 30,000 really.
Well...gotta go, I'm starving.

cowards, guys who wear sunglasses in doors
You know the internet is a good place for people who have no backbone in real life to hide and act like the little girls they are. Of course I've had deal with them for very long time. The very first internet service I had (at least the first I paid for) was aol and that place was chock full of poor souls who just did not know any better.
Most of the time it's hard to blame them, seeing the poor and backward places a lot of them grow up in almost makes you feel sorry for them. Don't get me wrong..I'm not some american elitist....FAR from it. It's a tiny bit hard for a recovering heroin addict with a three and a half foot mo-hawk to think he's elite anything.
You just need to forget about these people, because if you don't the urge to find them, put their head in a vice grip and claw their eyes out with your fingers might get too hard to resist... and lets face it, we've never been able to get that much blood out our clothes before.
Another thing I love is when you see people talking photos of themselves inside with sun glasses on. That's when you know for sure this m*therf*cker right here is just about the coolest guy you've ever met. (in case you don't know thats called sarcasm).
Or when you see girls profiles and it's 15 million photos of self taken pictures, all from a slightly different angle. Thats what I politely call myspace b*tches.
The internet is full of guys who are always so worried about......the size of certain...parts.. that they need to prove themselves and challenge everybody. To those guys you just have to say...."Look, you being really really (really) small has nothing what so ever to do with me. So why don't you just back up, go eat your corn and leave me alone"
And most of the time when they do that they're doing because of something that at the start had nothing at ALL to do with them. In fact the thing that pissed them off wasn't even about them....that is the funniest part of all. That happens when a guy has something that he's either ashamed of or is just so worried about something that thinks everything is about him right from the start. That of course makes you wanna laugh, but the fact that he jumped in something when it wasn't even about him makes you laugh even more.
(chances are if you're offended by this then I'm taking bout people like you. chances are that if you have a sense of humor and have a real life then your not offended)
