Worst Web site ever

http://www.sergiochiesasrl.com/Now, it takes a lot of courage or lack of understanding to introduce your company with such a site. In year 2008 this makes me think about the present and the future of the Web and the IT in general, at least in Italy. And it makes me sad.

It's not only Italy, so no need to be sad. It's the same here and probably all countries in the western world. But you are still young, so you can still do something about it

Want to see something truly sad? This is from a company that does marketing:
http://www.shorecreative.com/index.htm
This company professes to "build brands". Maybe I misunderstood the copy and the company actually does manufacture branding irons.
I was looking for the navigation, thinking maybe the links are hidden somewhere in that dark expanse. Then I checked the code. There are no links. This "full-service" agency that chooses "to work with clients who can think big-picture" has a single page. I suppose it's all relative: to an ant, a postage stamp is big.
Maybe Shore Creative is a newbie company. Maybe it is so new it doesn't have a logo yet. Or a portfolio. Or a list of clients.
Colour scheme? Black, black, black. Maybe black is this year's chartreuse.
Why is "Brand Building" in Times Roman? Bland bland bland.
The paragraph below is Arial. Blah blah blah.
Line-spacing anyone?
Oh wait, these folks don't know about CSS! Here's an example of the code:
We are Shore Creative
The copy brags that this marketing company is "gutsy" and "results-oriented". Yes, it takes guts to make a website- oops, I mean *page*- this bad. As for results, maybe this company worked long and hard to create a website- oops, webpage- this bland and annoying.
So far, Photoshop (nice picture, actually) and writing in English ("Look, Ma, no typos!") is their only proven skill.
Would you let this company "brand" you? Only if you're a masochist.

Actually, I think the http://www.sergiochiesasrl.com/ site wins this one. At least with the http://www.shorecreative.com/ site, you don't have to worry about getting lost or trying to find links.
