New MyOpera top bar

1. The top bar is too high. A lot of wasted space in the page. Looks really too heavy on top of the blog. It should be resized at least 1/3. I would like to know who in MyOpera decided this change in the graphics. Do you really want a bigger "MyOpera/Opera" logo well visible in the page? Put it on top of the sidebar without the option for removing it. That huge bar really sucks.
2. I can't access my files without passing through my account general settings, that is obviously wrong. "Files" needs an item in the menu.
More notes:
3. The hitslink stasts service doens't work correctly, I can't edit my account, when I submit the form I get an error about the billing information missing.
4. The "subscriptions" page on MyOpera and the whole "friends - friendly people - subscription" mechanism is somehow wrong. First, you should be asked for authorization when somebody adds you as "friend", since then you are showed on her/his page. Second, when you add somebody as friend you should be automatically subscribed to her/his blog. There should be an option to subscribe all the posts inside a subscribed blog, in order to get all the updates in comments. The subscriptions page should allow you multiple selection of items and then remove all together, instead one by one like now.

I am having some issues with how Opera is set up, i.e. not authorizing being added as someone's friend (as you pointed out) & some of the functions are really not that intuitive. Unless I am just an idiot, which I don't think is the case.

I am going to write a letter to Opera manegement!
I really fed up of that boys who add girls as their friend!
I think that we should have a chance to give permission for adding us to somebody`s friend list. So i agree with Mr. Celsi...
PS: Lorenzo, I am skink for your authorization!

It is different to have a list of "raccomended" blogs instead of a friend list like the one you get on MyOpera.
I guess to be displayed in the "friends" space in the sidebar you should be asked for authorisation because that makes you somehow phisically associated to that blog.
Add me to your friendlist if you like.

In addition you could publish the list of your blog subscriptions, doing so you could have the last "x" posts from the blogs you read displayed.
That means instead of adding me as "friend" you could add my blog as link to your link list.
If you want to be notified about my blog updates you have to "subscribe" my blog. It would be nice to have the option to publish your subscritions in your blog.
In MyOpera things about "links" - "friends" - "subscriptions" are a little confused and by the way it is also almost impossible to make effecive searches on the community to find out the blogs you might be interested more.
I haven't thought much about designing a community so far and I don't know exactly the reasons behind the features we get on MyOpera.
