I knew that browser was not to be trusted... what does that say about the manufacturer?

It just confirms something that was already known. Google does not respect their users privacy and in the end they believe people are stupid and either don't understand or don't mind. I insist that Google is getting worse than Microsoft.

You have a perfect option to compile your own version from sources the way you like it. The version Google distributes is the same as many other companies make their own distros of Opera and Firefox with bullshit preinstalled. You don't like - you don't use it. I don't see any problem here.

Aux, how many Chrome users do you think are capable of getting the sources, remove unwanted parts and compile their own version?

Besides the above nonsense, the problem is Google DOES NOT inform Chrome users of those features and their purpose.

Well, if you read their EULA carefully, then you will find a lot of interesting stuff. They even state that they may change the content you see at their will. And yeah, they state that they will place ads in any way they find appropriate. Don't agree? Well, no one forces you to use Chrome (:

And if you can't cook that does not mean that chiefs at restaurants are evil by not making food the way you like - it's your problem, that you can't cook, not theirs. You have all the recipies you need. Go, raise a cow, kill it and cook it! Like your grandpa did.

Go telling that to people who make a living by writing restaurant guides.
