It looks nice but I bet it's freezing! :insane:

LorenzoCelsi 7. January 2009, 18:42

Here were I live when it rains or snows it isn't that cold because the clouds hold some heat down. It gets colder during blue sky days, especially if they are windy. Besides, I mean when it snows it can be maybe around 0°C while when it gets colder it can go from 0° to -4 or -5°C. What is annoying is the humidity, being a plain. There are places in the mountains or hills where it went -25°C these days.

You've got white trees! Thats more beautiful than naked trees and some frozen dirty remains of snow on the ground...

nepmak2000 7. January 2009, 21:33

Take care for your ears, Lorenzo and your head in that cold! It's here in Andalucia at nights minus 8 Celcius already, and we await snowfall the next days.awww

gdare 7. January 2009, 21:49

I would like if we got some of that snow Lorenzo. We have 2cm from about 10 days ago and low temperatures and fog, but it would be nice to have more snow

LorenzoCelsi 7. January 2009, 22:29

I don't have any problem with the snow, I still have the snowshoes from the military service in case it gets very high. Problem is when it snows in the city it becomes a mess because everybody needs to go to work and so everybody is shoveling etc. and the traffic gets crazy. Then streets becomes lakes of mud. Not fun.

On a side note, today I saw some people who looked like arab immigrants who were trying to drive a van out of a parking area, one driving the 3 or 4 pushing behind and screaming in their language. Probably they were not much experienced with snow I guess the are still there.

Darko when I travelled in Yugoslavia about '85, I was impressed by the forests there. The place is way less crowded than here. There are pros and cons of course but if you like nature...

MizzMartinez 8. January 2009, 00:01

You look so serious Lorenzo. Bring a smile next time. p:

LorenzoCelsi 8. January 2009, 08:57

Usually when I take those pictures I am thinking "what the hell is doing this thingy" while looking at the cam.
And I am really surprised by the fact the pictures aren't bad after all considering I am more or less pushing buttons randomly.

gdare 8. January 2009, 10:02

It is snowing here this morning :D

LorenzoCelsi 8. January 2009, 10:31

Now you have to post pictures like I did. Go out in the snow...

gdare 8. January 2009, 14:45

kirstycat 8. January 2009, 16:14

wow, looks so beautiful! My sister is stranded in her flat in Bologna...so much snow she can't drive her car through it to get to work! Wish it was snowing in England too!

nudelsieb 8. January 2009, 16:15

Currently Milano is big in the weather news! Only the tram is fighting its way through the snow... Surely annoying in the city.

LorenzoCelsi 8. January 2009, 16:28

It is just some snow, not a big deal. It snows some every year.

53north 8. January 2009, 20:21

Excuse, Lorenzo..

Hey, Kirsty, were you getting trouble on your blog page? I'm missing the cooking ideas! You only have to inform opera via contact, or in the spam blog, and they will ban nuisances.

Graci, Lorenzo! =o)

LorenzoCelsi 8. January 2009, 20:50

Trouble like what?

BTW, in italian you say "grazie".

MizzMartinez 8. January 2009, 21:06

That's what people do you know. Push the bottoms. Isn't there a song called that too? p:

LorenzoCelsi 8. January 2009, 21:31

About pushing "bottoms"?

53north 8. January 2009, 23:26

Ah, I dunno. Wondered what made her give up such a tasty piece of writing..
=op
wish we had snow like that. Just icy pavements and frozen bird poo here.
Hmm, Italian is like the Greek and Russian, recognizing the hard S sound.

MizzMartinez 9. January 2009, 07:06

 I meant buttons. p:

nudelsieb 9. January 2009, 12:42

"push the bottom, hit the ground."

wickedlizard 19. January 2009, 14:08

Wow! It has been cold there! Who would have thought! Me up North and no snow, got plenty of frost and ice to slip on in the U.K.
