"prd3" or whoever you are, this is for you and your other "anonymous friends".
You know, last week somebody managed to lock me out of my account on MyOpera. I contacted MyOpera support and they restored my access. I do hope they can proceed as written here:
"As for the attacker, I will try to see if I can follow up with the proper authorities. Gaining unauthorized access to other people's accounts is simply not acceptable."
About the whole story: this is my blog and I can write whatever I like until I don't violate any Law or break any service policy rule. In the case I do something "illegal", everybody can report the violation to MyOpera so they can proceed officially against me. This is my blog and I have the right to decide who is welcome here and who is not. Those "nazi" guys who came here with their fanaticism (and cowardly hiding their identity) and who think they can rule over everybody, you can keep ruling over MyOpera community areas. That is pretty much a problem for MyOpera staff. The ridiculous thing is those "nazis" don't even understand the damage they have done and are still doing to Opera.
Finally, thanks to all people and friends who expressed concern and supporting.
Especially to Olga and Linda.

The only thing that identifies you on the Internet is your IP address. In theory you could inform the Police that informs a Judge who then ask the Internet Provider to relate the IP address to the name of the user who had that IP on that date. But I don't think anybody would do that because of I got locked out of my blog for some days. Plus, any "hacker" with a minimal brain would mask his real IP so it is difficult to trace back. And again, a Judge in Oslo cannot do much if the "hacker" lives in Colombia.
I could restrict my blog or some of my posts to "friends only" but that pretty much makes the whole blogging thing a nonsense.
I don't like this idea of "behaving", it sounds like those women who get raped and then somebody says they should have dressed less "provocative" or something like that. It is not me who has to "behave". What I can do is to avoid the community areas that look like those ghettos where you should better not walk alone. Maybe MyOpera sees the issue, maybe not and it is just mine. Not a big deal until they don't come on my blog. Or yours.
About the rest, believe or not, not many people are ready to stand for defending what is right. That I appreciate.
