Spring time

Today in the afternoon I walked and walked and walked.
I also made some pictures, here are two of them.
Cherry tree flowers in a forgotten street in the city outskirt.
For some reason when I was a kid they planted cherry trees along the worst streets of the suburbs.
During all these years the trees had been cut and removed in most places.
But I remember those empty streets covered of white and pink flowers.
Martina in her stroller.
Today is the traditional day for having a trip somewhere with your family.
I don't know if it was because of the lack of money or the weather forecast,
everybody was in the park. I mean EVERYBODY. Me too.

"I don't know if it was because of the lack of money or the weather forecast, everybody was in the park. I mean EVERYBODY. Me too." - HAHAHAHAH! SO funny! I think this is because of wonderful weather! It is still cool in Moscow!:frown:

What a nice day!

Here it is cloudy & the ground is soggy from all the rain yesterday.

Robert Jacobsen 13. April 2009, 19:54

It looks like you have a very nice springtime. How warm is it at your place nowadays? In Oslo we are experiencing, in the Sun at very warm days, up to 15 degrees Celcius. I shall have to take some photos the next warm day :-)

Today I guess it was about 24°C in the afternoon. In the night it should be about 10°C.

Robert Jacobsen 13. April 2009, 20:30

Aww! I want to have such temperatures too! :-)

Lorenzo Celsi 13. April 2009, 20:32

You just walk south and walk and walk...

Robert Jacobsen 13. April 2009, 23:03

Yeah, our ancestors clearly didn't think that far... D:

Anne 14. April 2009, 15:33

 these times you maybe shouldn't walk too far into the south - I heard that Vienna has lately been Europe's hottest city.

It's quite a good idea to plant trees in bad areas - but what happened that they got removed? :frown:

Lorenzo Celsi 14. April 2009, 15:44

I guess to take care of trees costs some money. Geniuses who make plans for this city believe that people must live in those soviet towns made of anonymous gray buildings with the statue of Lenin in the middle as only decoration.

Anne 14. April 2009, 19:25

Anonymous buildings, but inside you know every neigbour along your heating pipes by the sounds he makes.
Unfortunately those nice old Italian cities get particularly corrupted by earthquakes :frown:

Lorenzo Celsi 14. April 2009, 20:13

It is not only about Italy. All the ancient cities in the mediterranean area and their "wonders" ruined during centuries because of earthquakes.

starree 19. April 2009, 07:08

sounds like a nice day

starree 24. April 2009, 03:18

Oh if it's not now then it's soon so ..

Lorenzo Celsi 24. April 2009, 06:04

Grazie.

I love the second picture. Martina is the cutest child ever!!!! And that comment comes from a person who is not very fond of children.
