I am quite ready to attempt some simple silver jewelry crafting either privately or as a project in class.

Came across this Sterling Silver 3-Chain Necklace with Scribble Pendant and it gave me the idea of what to craft next.

As far as I can see, what I need to do is draw out a thick even silver wire and file one end a little. Coil it up like the one on the webpage (I would probable introduce more coils)and finish by bending the other end to form a bail.

There, just about the perfect project for a beginner. Just hope it is not a case of easier said (or written) than done!
