Under Lucario's Rule!

You Have Entered Lucario's Universe!

STICKY POST

Welcome to Lucario's Universe!

I'm going to tell you all about what the group Lucario's Universe is all about.
Here, you have to at least like Lucario. I'm totally obsessive over Lucario because its my favorite pokemon. Me and the great Ryan "The Sea King" are working on making this the second best group out there, of course the group Pokemon Ocean is excellent as well, and this group won't be quite as good.
All members are able to sign up automatically, though if you want to be a moderator you'll have to tell me about what you can do for the group.
I made Ryan a moderator because he's excellent with his group, and plus he's a great friend. I also decided to because he's my first friend on his whole My opera browser thing.
There will be some tournaments that will be hosted by Lucario's Universe. I'm sure that me and Ryan can put together a good enough prize for the winner. There will be regular and competitive battles, news posts, and trades as well.
So, join people, make Lucario's Universe a proud group!

Pokemon Platinum! The Real Deal!

Alright, prepare to be amazed by the news that I have for you here at Lucario's universe!

There is a new Pokemon Version coming out (for USA and Europe, its coming out early 2009). For Japan this game is coming out on September 13. They are really lucky how they get all of the pokemon games before we do. Alright, so the version that is coming out is called Pokemon Platinum Version!

This version is the third arm to Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Versions. It's kinda like Emerald to Ruby and Saphire.

First off, this game has some amazing new features:
~there will be WiFi Connection in the Under Ground
WHAT THIS MEANS: the more people that you put in your pal pad, like how you do on wifi now, you can meet them underground. People all around the world in one place, the underground.

~the Battle Frontier returns!
WHAT THIS MEANS: we can challenge the Battle Frontier again, baby! The battle tower will still be there, though.

~WiFi enhanced areas
DETAILS: there will be various places around Sinnoh that can hold up to 20 people across the world. You can chat with people that might not even be in your pal pad. There will be more then one area like this.

~The Battle Recorder
DETAILS: you can record your battles (not sure if wifi battles or battle frontier challenges) and show them to your friends. This is done at the new and improved GTS.

~New GTS
DETAILS: not much information right now, it just has a bigger global terminal.

~Both Palkia and Dialga are in the game
DETAILS: Team Galactic's plan improves and they go after Palkia and Dialga in this new game. Giratina can be obtained without National Dex.
DETAILS 2: like in Emerald with Kyogre and Groudon, Palkia and Dialga will probaby be at their levels (70 I think).

~Different Pokemon Forms
DETAILS: Giratina has an origin form with the Levitate ability. The Origin Form might only be used in the Torn World above Spear Pillar... this will be updated. Shaymin has a sky form with the ability Serene Grace. It focuses on sp.attack and speed, and can learn air slash. You have to get a special flower from someone in Floaroma town that can change Shaymin back and forth freely. The extent of this will be updated.

That about raps it up for POKEMON PLATINUM right now. But be sure to check back for updates.
Also visit Serebii.net, they rock.

What's New?

Well, it's time for another Pokemon of the... year more like it. Haven't ever really worked on this group, sorry for that.

Pokemon: Hippowdon
Classification: Heavyweight pokemon

Pokedex entry: Hippowdon, the Heavyweight pokemon. It blasts interally stored sand from ports on its body to create a towering twister for an attack. Its huge mouth is almost seven feet across. It has the power to completely crush a car.

Height: 6'07
Weight: 661.4 lbs

Hippowdon is great in HP, Defense, and Attack. Most people EV train it for those stats. If you have a Trick Room team, your gonna want to keep its speed low, but if not than do what you want with the speed.

Tips to EV Training... For DUMMIES!

Breeders have known of EV training for a while but its quite newer for the pokemon trainers.First of all EV means Effort Value, and this helps in raising a pokemon in a certain stat. EV training can be confusing at first but it does get easier as you go on and grow on using it.

Tip #1: Getting the EV items from the Battle Tower prize house isn't neccesary but it does help a lot. Each item costs 16 bp (Battle Points)
*Power Anklet- Speed
*Power Bracer- Attack
*Power Band- Special Defense
*Power Belt- Defense
*Power Lens- Special Attack
*Power Weight- HP

Alright, now the next thing that you need to know if what pokemon give what kind of boost in EV training. This may confuse you as well because of the evolution process intwangling in with the EV process. You see, a Magikarp gives on point in EV for speed when Gyarados gives 2 EV points for Attack. Since there are a lot of pokemon I'm not gonna list what EV every pokemon gives.

Tip #2: Until the pokemon that ur EV training levels up, then your gonna want to stick to the same pokemon that you've been battling for the max amount of EV points that you've earned for that battle.

Tip #3: A great place to go for EV training advice is Serebii.net where you can look up a pokemon in their D/P pokedex and see what their max stats can be or what they give for EV points.

See, this guide to EV Training is short and great... That's why it's called EV Training Guide for Dummies! Hope it helps!
(by leveling up 2 times fighting only Magikarp along the bridge from the Eterna Forest to the City, my shiny Jolteon got 35 evs in speed!

Super Smash Bros. Brawl Bosses

Petey Pirhana:
Game Series- Super Smash Bros.
First Appearance- Super Mario Sunshine (2002)
You fight Petey Pirhana on a small platform with Petey holding two cages with their own health gauges. Petey will attack and the cages occasionally slam down to cause damage.

Ridley:
Game Series- Metroid
First Appearance- Metroid (1987)
This flying dragon appears on a long platform in some base. Ridley uses flying attacks

Duan:
Game Series- Smash Bros.
First Appearance- Super Smash Bros Brawl (2008)
Runs on wheels, but sometimes "doesn't act like it". It does some physical attacks, which is why I say that.

Rayquaza:
Game series- Pokemon
First Appearance- Pokemon Ruby and Saphire (2002)
You can't be knocked out of the ring when you fight Rayquaza because you're in a jungle area. Rayquaza has many attacks that can send you flying upward.

Master Hand:
Game Series- Smash Bros.
First Appearance- Super Smash Bros. (1999)
A classic boss even from the other Super Smash Bros. game as you should know from above. Master Hand will take the position of right stage, and has numerous attacks. Its all about how his hand moves, that's how you know what attack Master Hand does.

Galleom:
Game Series- Smash Bros.
First Appearance- Super Smash Bros. Brawl (2008)
A huge robot thing... His attacks cause great damage to the opponent character.

Meta-Ridley:
Game Series- Metroid
First Appearance- Metroid Prime (2003)
Just like Ridley from before (well, he was to me). The only difference is that Meta-Ridley is constantly in flight.

Crazy Hand:
Game Series- Smash Bros.
First Appearance- Super Smash Bros. Melee (2001)
Just like Master Hand except now he's on the left side of the stage and he attacks constantly.

Porky:
Game Series- Earthbound
First Appearance- Mother 3 (2006)
Huge Spider machine, basically. Porky will whip his legs at you wildly.

Tabuu:
Game Series- Smash Bros.
First Appearance- Super Smash Bros. Brawl (2008)
The final boss in the Subspace Emissary. It has plenty of attacks.

Tournament Notification! Three Months!

Hello good people of Lucario's Universe or not. I'm going holding a tournament that will start in three months on May 11th. The reason that I am holding it in three months is because my DS is broken right now and I am waiting for a new one. When it does get fixed, I have to do some serious training. Me and Ryan the Sea King will pull together a prize for the winner of the tournament.
How to register: put your name and friend code in a form like this:
Name: ~~~~~~~~
Friend Code: 0000 0000 000

After you have done that, just prepare for the tournament.
HERE ARE THE RULES (READ THESE I CANNOT STRESS THIS MORE!!)
~THERE ARE NO UBERS OR LEGENDARIES~ TKRaw told me about this one tournament some Scoop guy was having and the winner of the tournament had almost all legendaries for his team!
~THE TOURNAMENT WILL BE FREE LEVEL BECAUSE THE TOURNAMENT IS BEING HELD IN THREE MONTHS, PLENTY OF TIME TO TRAIN YOUR POKEMON~

Thank you for registering and I promise you this will be a great tournament. Once there are at least twenty people signed up for the tournament I will let you know of the match-ups and how they will go on from there.
~ONCE YOU ENTER THE TOURNAMENT YOU CAN'T BACK OUT UNLESS YOU TALK TO ME OR RYAN~
