The Big Bang Theory es una serie es una serie que comenzó a salir al aire el pasado año en toda Latino América y se puede ver en Warner Channel todos los martes a las 20hs.
Esta comedia producida y dirigida por Chuck Lorre de Two and a Half Men y Bill Prady de Gilmore Girls trata de dos físicos, Leonard y Sheldon, que comparten el apartamento. La serie comienza con la mudanza de Penny, su nueva y atractiva vecina, y hace hincapié en la dificultad de los físicos para relacionarse con personas fuera de su entorno para dar lugar a situaciones cómicas.
Ambos son brillantes en su trabajo, pero tanto ellos como sus amigos Howard Wolowitz, un pseudo-galán sacado de una película psicodélica de los 60's, y Rajesh Koothrappali (de nacionalida india) son representados como unos completos Geeks, muy alejados de las inquietudes de la gente corriente.

La primera temporada de la serie iba a constar de 22 episodios, pero debido a la huelga de guionistas de 2007 se vio reducida a 8. La CBS anunció que a partir de marzo de 2008 se emitirán nueve nuevos episodios y se rodará una segunda temporada.
