Greetings,
Many people out there often ask when painting miniatures what color they should use with another main color. I like to use the following site to help me decide..

You can see that you have a few options, such as Mono or Compliment etc. Mono will be all in the same color family, just different shades, where compliment will be across from the main color on the color wheel and will off set and pop with your chosen color... in other words compliment it. The tool linked above is a very powerful resource that should help any Miniature Painter get better looking miniature in color.
