A Concept to Ponder.
Here at the Bamboric Foundation head office, situated at Mdala Chikowa, Lake Malawi, we have been toying with the idea to launch a Competition with a cash prize equal to the value of a top end cottage! The competition is about getting a number of female contestants and an equal number of male contestants to be paired into couples. Much like a married couple, the traditional husband and wife scenario. The contestants will, once they have been paired into couples, endeavour to plan and then build a Cottage.
A cottage exactly like any of the Bamboric Cottages on offer. (See the page Bamboric Cottages) All the building materials, labour, etcetera will be provided by The Bamboric Foundation. The entire concept is in aid of the Bamboric Foundation, and as you might be aware by now, the Bamboric Foundation's core function is the betterment and uplifting of people living in rural Africa.
The couples will each design, as set out below:
A cottage, 300 square meters in size,
The design and oversee the crafting of the furniture,
Source local tailors to produce all the curtaining, bedding, etcetera,
If the cottage is at a lake, the construction of a jetty and the building of a boat,
The Competition rules.
A minimum of 16 couples, (32 individuals)
The contestants must be nominated by the public, and their profiles posted on a page to be created by the Bamboric Foundation Web Guru, on this site.
The final 32 contestants will be selected by public vote.
The location will at the pure white sandy beach of the Bamboric Estate situated between Palma and the Tanzanian border.
The contestants must 18 years of age or older, and must be available for a three month period,
The Web Guru will be you, once you have submitted your interest and resume at the email address provided on the “Contact Me” Icon to the top left of the main page.
The entire competition will be administered by you, once you have applied with the relevant information, using the “Contact Me” Icon to the top left of the main page.

A hour by hour account will be available via live cam on this site, 24/7, to enable you, the voter, to vote for your favourite couple.
The cost of one vote, initially for couple selection, and afterwards for the best cottage, will be an amount yet to be decided upon by you, the reader. Please submit your ideas at the “Contact Me” Icon, to the top left of the main page.
The winning couple, after tallying the votes for the best constructed the best cottage, will have the choice of a cash prize equal to the value of the cottage, or the cottage itself.
All the other couples will receive a annual holiday of one month at any of the Bamboric Estates, for a ten year period.
The remaining 15 cottages will be auctioned on this site!
