Here is a great find! Desktask which is now in the RC stage seems to be a great freeware desktop widget. It displays Calendar and Task items from MS Outlook.
It dosent use much system resources and is easy to work with. The download size is only 446 Kb. There is also a forum for discussing the application.

Notes: Just a tip. I found dragging Desktask around the screen easier when I dragged it by the Calendar icon.
