CRITICISM

express anothers shortcomings
till your heart content but be
warned lest your heart wither
and die from envy
dissapprove and point for your
mental faculty emotionally taint
and such the discourse of perceiv-ed
popularity draws the hunger in
and should an artist grow to such
maturity and wield not a loos-ed
tongue to be able to give precise
taxonomy of academic vocabulary
and should one be only held in high
esteem if one relfects the values
of the hidden critic to flatter a
false ego long-ed ignored
and hunger it rises more and who is it
that should hold themselves in high
esteem to be the judge and jury and
maker of judgement of literary?
gaps and ambiguities lie between the
lines, rhetorical incompatibilities
explore implicit planes of discourse
for whom esteems themselves to give
to make such textual analysis
deconstruction privileges the thinking
over speaking, speaking over writing,
philosophy over rhetoric,
and truth over sophistry so
learn well only the trace
of a trace of a trace of meaning
and so the force of imagination
is at the mercy and will, to whom
all it shows it's face but fears
not the critical heart and yields
not to the apparent paradox

I feel guilty those times.
Still I feel fortunate that I am able to read what you do write.
I give thanks to God for my eye sight, for my ability to read English and for my state of mind to understand what you write.
But, I am still envious! Am I bad??

Too many interests in this one!
Poetry it is not one of them!
