TATTOOED

tattooed in time
the scars of the past
that are often raised
to the surface

you can see tattooed
in my non existant smile
the dispondency of a lost
childhood of many regret

and time did mark me so
and branded me with iron
hot burning iron that
declares to all

that I no longer trust
another,an nor forget
the past for hurt was
tattooed upon my soul
