Theres Lines On My Face

Theres lines on my face
that every can see
the wrinkles are creased and thin
and all over my body
plenty of sagging skin

The wind and the heat and exposure to sun
has gotten much worse with yellowing
the roughness and tiny freckles of dots
and visible blood vessels and not to
mention plenty of dark spots

the life lines and laugh lines
the crumpling and the folding
the wrinkling of the nose in much disdain
a small furrow and ridge and creases in lips
the yellowing of teeth where smoking has stained

but in the end everything just creases
as my life comes to an end and is soon to ceases
