YOU LIE!!
YOU LIE IN BED WITH LIE AFTER LIE
YOU LIE IN WAIT TO WRITHING LIKE MAGGOTS ON A RUG
Your angry with life and unsatisfied with your lot
your whole life is built on lies
and lies is what you use to achieve the most
insideous of outcomes
YOU LIE IN BED WITH LIE AFTER LIE
YOU LIE IN WAIT TO WRITHING LIKE MAGGOTS ON A RUG
lying rolls off your lips like smooth silk
you care not whom you hurt
you care not who is in your way
and happy to leave misery in your wake
YOU LIE IN BED WITH LIE AFTER LIE
YOU LIE IN WAIT TO WRITHING LIKE MAGGOTS ON A RUG
for this is your only success
to lie - to teach to lie
lie to accomplish and succeed
but in the end yours is only but a lie
be careful what you feed your heart
and mind lest it rot with that of rotting
maggots that eat out the brain
and feast on the heart and destroy your
life

CRITICISM
express anothers shortcomings
till your heart content but be
warned lest your heart wither
and die from envy
dissapprove and point for your
mental faculty emotionally taint
and such the discourse of perceiv-ed
popularity draws the hunger in
and should an artist grow to such
maturity and wield not a loos-ed
tongue to be able to give precise
taxonomy of academic vocabulary
and should one be only held in high
esteem if one relfects the values
of the hidden critic to flatter a
false ego long-ed ignored
and hunger it rises more and who is it
that should hold themselves in high
esteem to be the judge and jury and
maker of judgement of literary?
gaps and ambiguities lie between the
lines, rhetorical incompatibilities
explore implicit planes of discourse
for whom esteems themselves to give
to make such textual analysis
deconstruction privileges the thinking
over speaking, speaking over writing,
philosophy over rhetoric,
and truth over sophistry so
learn well only the trace
of a trace of a trace of meaning
and so the force of imagination
is at the mercy and will, to whom
all it shows it's face but fears
not the critical heart and yields
not to the apparent paradox

dream, hate, kind, spite
...
ARE YOU AWAKE?
really are you awake?
has your nightmare of spiteful
dreams and tormented goals
have they really been
left there on your pillow
or do you rise to the morning
sun and scheme and plan
your assault of negativity
breathing hate into the world
infecting others
Is your life so without meaning
that it takes displeasure of
others that enjoy life's gift
how bereft you be that with
eyes wide open that you cannot see
that others have marked you well
and know the blood of hate that
runs through your veins that
pulses and surges with evil joy
at any dart you throw
Are you awake? or blind to
those that join your folly taking
pure delight in rousing numbers
that at first daybreak seek out
every misfortune to malign and twist
and you cannot see the life you gave
up for dead that you too could have
been enjoying that others have so
encompassed that live their lives
of kindness and compassion who have
no time to nitpick as you do, like
scabby sore that you continue to pick
and offer the wound no more than
infectious disease till green and
pussie and you alone writhe in your dream
when will you awake and see that your
friends are no more than mere discontented
hearts, that you revel too much in your
own glories hate, your every thought
that tenses your bones and shortens your life
so the next time you prod your evil stick
and stab at the hearts of others ask
yourself is this all your life is from day
to day and ask yourself are you
...........really awake?

eternity, Religious, food, physiology
...
We eat to die or eat we to live?
depends on the diet
for who can survive
without tasting love
who can but liveth only
to sustain the mortal flesh
when all of life is for the living
This stomach craves more than
what can merely fill the belly
desiring tasty morsels
that pass the lips and linger
for I need to feast after
famines hold
and I desire the morish
that fills my yearning
and satifies the craving
and shall I too have wine
and find refreshment in
lifes giving hour
who will be my company
to pass this time away
and pass the plate of forgiveness
who will serve me and wait upon
salting and flavoring lifes
delightful dish
savor I this perfect moment
the banquet set before mine eyes
the warmth of sun that blessed
down upon the fruits of my loin
that ripen giving a delectable
array of color that so entices
and enriches the spirit fullfilling
the simple need in all of us
to connect our righteous path
so long ago chosen and nought
will be denied my hunger before
the Lord that has set before us
a delectable banquet that lasts
beyond this age, that will nought
have me hunger or thirst no more

night, leaves, Maree Long, blossom
...
THE AUTUMN OF MY YEARS
The tree bears fruit in Autumn
third the season between
summer and winter it falls
northern temperate zone at
the autumnal equinox,
of perfect moment
the harvest that favors life
where there are whispers in the wind
that called softly my name
and so co-ordinated the celestiele
of time at which the vernal point
brings the celestial equator
and though it must end
at winters solstice
I shall live while I may
in reality day is longer than night
and there by pure light I see
the golden falling leaves
and so the transition of change
that I may live so centered
and enjoy my blossoming fruit
for I cannot spend another moment
without another orange sherbet sunrise
nor an Autumn without trees

worship, company, unusual words, poetry
...
BLINDED by thine words
as though a hot copper basin is put near thine eyes
blinded by thine words abcinate
and hauty the impression on others you create
and pompous the windy bore that pretends to have inspiration
and thine name is aeolist
as on each subject matter thou will put thine own twist
and thou art the person who never laughs
and thine name is agelast
spouting words ones time machine constantly visits the past
and in worshipping thine ownself for thine own end
thine name is autolatry
and from the accolade of men thy will is not set free
and you speak smugly of thine own accomplishments
thine name is autohagiographer
for your own company is what you have come to prefer
and artly veiled the insult
thine name is charientism
for your heart entangled in it's own self willed prism...

space, sin, insight, Religious
...
EMPTY SPACES
absorbs not the unforeseen
so critical the judgment anesthetized to all around
such empty spaces that lack the sensitivity
that sees not the pain and senseless shock
an empty chest this spacial room
destitute of sincerity and sense
so hollow and vane producing nothing of worth
unfrutiful this tree and empty the vine
empty the space that discharged into the ocean
all that was once good for it's own self
gratification leaving fallen all in it's wake
the womb empty of life as the mind empty spills its strife
vacuous the empty void stares blankly
barren of all goodly insight
and bare the closet of the mind
that has nothing hung on its hangers
so beware of empty spaces for what might
seek to creep and rest therein and
fill your heart and soul with goodness
from the heavens that God has sent
lest you become that empty vessel controlled
by the seed of nature of the like of which
you have not known, that sin and evil reigns
taking hold and there resides to be watered and grown

sin, hate, Religious, justice
...
DECEIT III
deceit you fool
vile and bitter twisted creature of fate
your strategm of falsehood
that upsets the balance of goodness received
you suck dry the very breath
of those you seek to draw into your web
your guile and duplicity
well practiced to decieve
sincerity is blank ad empty upon your heart
that which craves the seeking after self
has no remorse for those you hurt
and lying is upon your lips
and universal your deciet that seeks a victim
that causes harm to another
and your only remorse is in getting caught
for depravity from your heart is all that drips
so beg not forgiveness for I am not your God
and seek no solace from me for I am not your judge
blinded that you see not you only fooled yourself
so continue to deceive if you will until justice finds you out
for the remorseful and humble man
that seeks to overturn the wrong of such a stand
will do more than make idle words of apology
and commit themself to justice' sake
so in the heart of sickeness and skullduggery
that you willingly partook
will dig out the sin, and cut it free
and hoe the soil of consciousness digging deeply with the cold steel rake
so tear down the facade that revealed your pretense
and dare not come this way again
for you are not welcome here
and fool for anyone that dare let you in

life, promise, New Year, poetry
...
RESOLUTION
so resolute ones determination
made in earnest promise
of unshakable resolve
that rings in the New Year
of merely clanging cymbals
of what has been said before
sounding so hollow now
that seems so laughable to the ear
for I know that I will continue to
eat pavolova for breakfast
for it is steadfastly considered
dairy and part of the 5 basic groups of food
however as I voice my earnest
of self prophecy and command
you should all be cheering me
and not in mocking tones considered to be rude...
I will, I will, I promise
I will diet and exercise
and stick to my fitness regime
and not slack off or falter
and ride my bike for an hour
till no longer splitting pants at the seam
and yes I will eat more healthily
and give up smoking too
no longer date a million guys
or turn up so late for work
no longer I in idle gossip
for my bad neighbors now have moved town
no longer will I be complaining
or ignoring the chores I often shirk
and I will spend more time with family
and keep in touch with Aunty Jan
and invite poor Uncle Jo for dinner
and promise to be a better Aunty
I will stop and smell the roses more
and take up a hobby or two
will endeavor to pay the taxes on time
and certainly give more to charity
Oh New Year, oh New Year, ring on please
you know that you are killing me
and bringing me to my knees....
bring on the auldangsyne
that weve sung a thousand times...
and just let me see the fireworks
and do the countdown as everyone in unison chimes

nature, poverty, poetry, storm
...
THE SHELTER BEHIND DRY STONE WALLS
impenetrabile your strength
or so it seemed as the storm menanced above
and forced to seek shelter behind the dry stone walls
a wall of silence fell as the moors mist did rise
and drove man's spirit to poverty
for now he knew he was alone
and here in solitude as the
storm clouds rained upon the stones past
here, no one could find his tears
and looking through the sandstone cavity
pelted a dampened curtain veil
and his reflection he could see not
so inward he was forced to look
and examine his own heart
to test the very foundations of which he had built
and little by little he let his rebellious
resolve crumble to the floor
and with clos-ed eyes looking to heaven
in the dark of such roarous thunder
cried to "Abba" humbled of heart
asking the Saviour to be his cornerstone
and this new foundation
able to withstand the earths movement
that protects the inner heart from rising turbulent water
interlocked the strengthened heart
now one with its surround
provides the haven for all that life prevails.
