BUTTERFLY DREAMS
Softly, softly floats the butterfly
That dares to dream away the day
Did you ever think your lifeless form
Would be pressed under shiny glass
Your tiny heart forever preserved
No flight, no dreams remnant of the past
Elegant creatures that bless the senses
The jewel of the sky
Preserved forever but a time
Remembers no more the flight
Butterfly dreams is all you do now
Of a flickering moment when glory
Lifted wings to heavens ear
Sweet message that now dissappear

MOONLIGHT BUTTERFLY
And they come and they see not
They go and they hear not
The moonlight butterfly
Why do you not visit the flowers?
Soul of fluttering wings
Pure melody of the sky
Lifeless forms that pass
Like ships in the night
Beneath the moonbeams
That sheds it’s mysterious light
Transformed astutely, camouflaged
That in days beauty takes graceful flight
Protected in the vulnerable stage
So where do butterflies go at night?
Heading up into heaven’s sky
Disappearing from my sight
And hiding behind the grey clouds
Pure magic is the butterfly in moonlight
Or hanging upside down on leafy twigs
Hidden amongst the foliage
Or protected in a rocks crevice
Delight the wings of enchanted form
Give rise to inquisitive mind
Upon which is your beauties premise

"MATRIX OF THE PELEIDES"
By virtue the agent of pollination
descends thy beauty upon
the timely end of nations
Shimmering shades of blue green
feeds the graceful wings on juices
of fermenting fruit now seen
The forest dweller enters
unawares of entrapment
seeking sunny clearings
refelects the incident light
brilliant hue diffracted
before once more takes flight
Metallic is the matrix
Peleides the butterfly
descends the wings of beauty
as it heeds the call of Paraguay.
