I am but the whisper
the vapour in the air
I am what cannot be seen
whose presence you feel
I am but the light
the warmth upon your skin
I am what cannot be touched
whose presence you feel
I am but the moment
the reality of the day
I am what cannot be contained
whose presence you wish to sustain
I am but elusive
the longing of your heart
I am all your dreams
whose presence is desired

I wake.......
I wake
and breath comes with mornings light
the doves coo in the trees
I wake
and breath comes with mornings light
as cool is felt in Autumns breeze
I wake
and breath comes with mornings Light
and life has come to me
I wake
and breath comes with mornings light
of grandeur and possibility
I wake
and breath comes with mornings light
as lifes pulse quickens my heart
I wake
and breath comes with mornings light
for the joy felt at days start

sight, truth, anatomy, creation
...
EYE
delicate and precise
the organ of sight
dark apeture that
determines the light
the window that transmits this
moveable globe of vision
and focuses the worlds view
a pair of hollow structures
that rest in bony sockets
within the orbit of the skull
the faculty that makes
aesthetic judgments
under watchful supervision
so calm the centre
amidst lifes hurricane
and so they ran into the
heart of the struggle
where upon they now
find themselves in the
eye of the storm
and the eye of the needle
forbids me trespass
and keeps me on this
side of lifes fence
and my minds eye
takes in my surrounds
and evaluate the quality
this lens that penetrates
my memory stores the pictures
that I now see

truth, light, religous
ILLUMINATE ME
the source of light
and illucidation
that lifts mine mind
giving clarifcation
illuminate me the
God of creation
abundant thine light
that is seen as good
the darkness once worn
as a cloaken hood
now reveals spritual awareness
divine condition
that yields a heart
that is full of contrition
remove all ambiguity
and expose this weakened candidate
adorn my mind with thine splendour
and give thy truthful mandate
prevail upon me and do not
let me hallucinate
being deceived by own self will...............

nature, poetry, light, morning
...
DAWN
stillness of the dawn air
the breath of mornings glory
and dancing the waltz so slowly
the feathered leaves in clusters
move in time with the breeze
like snow that melts the kiss of all that's said
as we awaken of infinite expectation
aurura of genesis new birth the opening
the slip into conscioutsness(sp)of ease
and the social serenade of the doves
they coo to greet the morn
and merge the sounds till muted
and color filters the dawning skies
the lights portal of imaginings
of ones hopes and dreams
as light it grows in mornings break
shows the approach of sunrise
sumptious the fruit of harvest upon
the fingered brances of the tree
as birds of flight hang upside down
feeding in playful glee
display of affection as light it
kisses the red tiled roof top
as all provided free
and on the other side of time
dusk was bid goodbye
the passing of moments history
with each new eventide
each day the dawn it rises the
twighlight of the morn
and who but God can stop
the cry of perpetual dawn

space, heaven, Time, Stars
...
HEAVENLY BODIES
Emitted light from
distant past
visible to the naked eye
So why then can man
not see beyond your hot
body of glowing gas
and know that
the spoken word dispels all
man's questions of confusion
the answer to energy,
brightness...and
nuclear fusion
Sun star giver of light
Sun star giver of life
Luminious ball of plasma
radiates your beauty
under nights sky
Light that guides safely
giving man passage
upon watered sea
Who is your time keeper
who holds your heavenly
body fixed in time and space
Son creator of light
Son the giver of new life
Fields of color the
roof built upon our brow
looks commandinGly down
A garden of beams
illumine softly for
midnight's Milky Way.
And heralds a new dawn
that marks all time
and space
As the Father, smiles
upon man descending
heaven's light
That greets and calls
the heart of one
and through his son
gives grace...
