My Night Song

, ,

MY NIGHT SONG

words they fall to the floor
silently laying all around
deaf the letters they scramble
at my feet

and the world is left outside
as I recluse hiding within
and think this is the world
as it should be

my sancturary walls thinly
layered have served my heart
well all these years but
now I fear

the world reaching in
pressing in heavily getting
close to my shattered soul
thinks it has the answers

but how could the world
know how its been for they
have ignored me for so long
and cared not for my cries

in the night that become
my only voice of song
that gave respite of
realisation of the burden

that carried my feet in this
way - I wish to come back
and hear the birds sing
I desire to savor life

but I am locked away so
press me if you will for
my heart it cannot stay
and will not abide the

jepoardy that awaits for me
for my mind it runs - no where
in particular but run it must
and seek another hiding place

Torture of the Sandman

TORTURE OF THE SANDMAN

Torture of the Sandman
that withholds the grains of sleep
and prods the mind to work overtime
relentlessly pursued I weep

processing the day and all its troubles
grey matter like a revolving door
filters and sifts the mind

tic tic tic tic tic tic tic tic
sleep deprivation interorgates my soul
extending the morning hours
as I sink further and further into a hole

so who will amuse me
in the early morning tide
and give me sanctury from the sandman
who drains me as my husbands snores beside

"DESTINED MINDS"

, , , ...

DESTINED MINDS

foolish thy scheme destined to fail
thine assignation of mans self wills of the mind
impenetrable mystery of madness and despair

for I am destined to rule
that which knows between good and evil
victoriously I look upon defeat
and let ones dust be trampled under mine feet

foreordained the compulsary, stand I at heaven's gate
impending and unavoidable is all man's fate
complex the element that perceives and thinks
and 'minds' decision now made

mental activity in awe before the living God
at first instinct begins to organise the conscious past
to present an offering of the humbled heart
and all that stands ignorance of knowledge

Absolute, indiscribable and self existant
eternal all knowing the source of all reality and being
and fall I prostrate at, tiny my form before
that which thought I, could challenge God

but I have not passed away
and walk this earth for what seems forever and a day
and as such acknowledge thee as long as I am given breath
and put aside all foolish vanity

FOOTNOTE:
For thus saith the Eternal that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the self existent One; and there is none else.
Isaiah 45:18

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. He was present originally with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without him was not one thing made that has come into being.
Gospel of John 1:1-3

that would bring you back to me

Sawalat kya hai? (What are the questions?)
that rest on your mind

Sawalat kya thein? (What were the questions?)
that got left behind

Aakhiri sawal kya hai ?What is the last question?
that seals eternity

Khat mein kya likha hai ?What is written in the letter?
inscribed in hearts of blood

Tumhein/Aapko kya kaha gaya tha ?What you had been told?
that keeps us from dance beneath nights sky

Jawab kya hoga ? What will be the answer?
to my searching longing

Tum / Aap kyon aaye ?Why did you come?
if not to let me hold you

Tum / Aap kyon soye ?Why did you sleep?
and let sun set upon and miss the day

Tumne/Aapne unko jaane ko kyon kaha ?Why did you tell him to go?
when daggers dart burns

mujhe tumse pyar hai (I love you)
mujhe tumse pyar hai (I love you)
mujhe tumse pyar hai (I love you)

mein bukha hun for your love.......
