WOULD YOU NOTICE?

, , , ...

WOULD YOU NOTICE?

Would you notice the heavens crying
when evening stars are falling?

Would you notice the crocodile tears
as the lake meets the ocean?

Would you notice my heart beating faster
when you are in the room?

Would you notice I was missing when
my heart was packed and gone?

Would you notice heaven calling
night after night?

Would you notice the waves upon the ocean
and the distance of the seas?

Would you notice my heart bleeding
as hopes drown as I cry on my knees?

Or would you take for granted another nights
sky filled with many stars

and not even notice that one was missing?

"even stars are falling but the sky is full of them the next night! "

THE AUTUMN OF MY YEARS

THE AUTUMN OF MY YEARS

The tree bears fruit in Autumn
third the season between
summer and winter it falls

northern temperate zone at
the autumnal equinox,
of perfect moment

the harvest that favors life
where there are whispers in the wind
that called softly my name

and so co-ordinated the celestiele
of time at which the vernal point
brings the celestial equator

and though it must end
at winters solstice
I shall live while I may

in reality day is longer than night
and there by pure light I see
the golden falling leaves

and so the transition of change
that I may live so centered
and enjoy my blossoming fruit

for I cannot spend another moment
without another orange sherbet sunrise
nor an Autumn without trees

LIGHTS IN THE NIGHT

, , , ...

LIGHTS IN THE NIGHT

explosive combustibles
generated colored lights
bamboo tubes filled with finely
grourid charcoal and sulfur

He held her hand and looked up
and realising she was more beautiful
more firey than lighted missles
and all that was her

extravagant the display they witness
elaborate production of floating
bodies in the nights heavens
and lavish the art that pleases the eye

lightening exposed realing the senses
intense the shooting stars and flame
bright confetti fills the air
as smoke and splendour fills the sky

A spherical break of colored stars
that leaves a visible trail of sparks
such the jewels that glitter
crisscrossing the dark blanket above

radial lines like the legs of a spider
burst in a straight line of trajectory
until we come to the final salute
that tells us the end is nigh my love

and so we watched that night
the liquid fuel that caused the final
fireball in the sky so
burst sizzle dazzle and scatter

and for a brief moment on summer's eve
they satieted and soaked in the lights
one single magical moment
for in that eve nought would matter
