BLOOD UPON THE STONE
Monday, 11. February 2008, 09:30:56
red the viscus fluid that
dripped blood upon the stone
hot blood and fiery temper
caused the angst of piercing
seering pain of the royal
noble lineage that called
the princess of blood
first taste of fire that
now poured from thine veins
now deliberately, coldly,
and dispassionately spilled
lifes giving force excreting
the clots from within that
no longer dance, that no
longer sing the song of joy
and there lies the blood
upon the cold heartless stone
stained in deep deep the red
the mark of this way, lifes
once passionate heart so coy
no longer at the mercy of
long standing animosity
for all mercy is spent and
animosity grins with idle
care its evil heart that
worried not about leaving
its blooded mark upon the stone

FOOTNOTE: I think I may have used viscous fluid in another piece some time back...but picking up the words heart and stone this piece came to life or its resting place depending your take on it..lol
