"Leave your troubles with the Lord, and He will defend you; He never lets honest men be defeated...As for me, I will trust in You."
PRAYER AND PERSONAL REFLECTION
Dear Heavenly Father, help me to remember to leave my troubles with You, Lord. You will defend me. Time and again You have proven to me that when I bring my troubles to You and leave them with You, You, in turn, always help me and comfort me. You are so wonderful, God. I thank You and praise You. Amen.

"Happy are those who trust the Lord, who do not turn to idols or join those who worship false gods. You have done many things for us, O Lord our God; there is no one like You! You have made many wonderful plans for us. I could never speak of them all their number is so great!"
PRAY AND PERSONAL REFLECTION
Dear Heavenly Father, teach us and direct us, Lord, so that we never worship false gods. In these times, it is very easy to be deceived by the ways of the world; they may sound and feel good but they do not praise and worship You, our Lord and Savior! You have done many wonderful things for us, O Lord our God. Keep us faithful to You and to Your word. Let us sing of Your great love for us. Amen.

A Prayer of Trust in God
"I come to You, Lord, for protection; never let me be defeated. You are a righteous God; save me, I pray! Hear me! Save me now! Be my refuge to protect me; my defense to save me."
PRAYER AND PERSONAL REFLECTION
Dear Heavenly Father, Yes, please be our refuge, protect us. We need You every moment of the day. We need Your protecttion, Lord, because sometimes we can so easily lose our joy, especially if we let ourselves worry obsessively over things we cannot change. Please help us to always bring our worries to You and ask for Your help and protection. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

"You have changed my sadness into a joyful dance; You have taken away my sorrow and surrounded me with joy. so I will not be silent; I will sing praise to You. Lord, you are my God; I will give You thanks forever.
PRAYER AND PERSONAL REFLECTION:
Dear Heavenly Father, This is the story of my life before I knew You, God. You did change my sadness into a joyful dance! You have taken away my sorrow and surrounded me with Your joy! No, I will not be silent! I will sing praise to You forever, Lord. Amen.

"The Lord is my Light and my salvation; I will fear no one. The Lord protects me from all danger; I will never be afraid. I know that I will live to see the Lord's goodness in this present life. Trust in the Lord. Have faith, do not despair. Trust in the Lord.
PRAYER AND PERSONAL REFLECTION:
Dear Heavenly Father, You Lord, are my light and my salvation. I rely on You for light because on my own, sometimes things can appear quite dark. I need never be afraid as I know YOU ARE WITH ME. May You help me keep my trust and my faith in You. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, Yes, I am praising You with all my heart; I will tell all the wonderful things You have done. I do try to tell others how wonderful You are. You bless me constantly and hear my prayers. I am totally dependent on You, Lord; all is a gift from You. I thank You and praise You for all Your blessings. Amen.

"Wisdom is not to be found among men; no one know its true value. The depths of the oceans and seas say that wisdom is not found there."
PRAYER AND PERSONAL REFLECTION
Dear Heavenly Father, we pray to You for wisdom for, like Job, it is our experience that wisdom is not found among us. We know that, left to our own resources we often fail. May You help us to remember, Lord, always to come to You in prayer whenever we must make a decision that could affect others as well as ourselves. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
